Announcement    My name is Kriya and I'm a metalsmith living in Portland, Maine. Here you will find my nature inspired jewelry designed with organic materials grown in my garden and small treasures found along the coast of Maine. Alongside detailed botanical patterns and soothing shell forms are more sculptural pieces with a modern feel. Jewelry becomes meaningful when it cultivates a closeness to places you fall in love with and want to return to. Plants and the ocean represent that for me and it’s my mission to share this with others through handmade jewelry. Using traditional metalsmithing techniques, I work with ethically sourced, recycled sterling silver and bronze.
