About

Your story in one sentence.

Krysta's in the Pointe was started over 20 years ago. The original concept was "Decorating on a Dime" - getting that designer/magazine look without the designer price tag. I was re-purposing before it was vogue and had a studio/workroom that employed over 20 people.

As the business evolved I began to loose interest in doing work for designers who would come to me for labor and then put a 300% mark-up on the projects for their clients. They were taking up all my time and I felt the concept of decorating on a dime had been lost. After numerous local Show Houses and dozens of pretentious "designers" - including custom work for 3 local Calico Corners, I scaled back and opened our doors to the general public. Window treatments, slipcovers, accessories and hand painted recycled furniture became available at an affordable price point for everyone.

While I still fabricate these items, my favorite thing to do is whimsically paint. I started with clay pottery and galvanized trash cans. I would do the art show circuit in the summer on weekends and just loved it.

About 2 years ago I discovered the computer and ETSY. While I am not very savvy with social media ETSY is like being at an art show every day and I love it. Locally I am still fabricating but daily I am interacting, with the help of ETSY and feeling like I am at an art show constantly.

Payment
Payment can be made by Pay Pal, ETSY, check or cash

If you choose to cancel the order, it must happen before the can ships - if not, shipping charges are not refunded and it is your responsibility to return the can in the same manner it was shipped, inclusive of the same amount of insurance - all items are shipped "insured" and with a tracking number

If you are returning the item, I would suggest not opening the 20 or 30 gallon cans as it is a cumbersome wrapping process and takes two of us to get it wrapped correctly

The only state I have to charge tax is Michigan.
Shipping
Shipping out of the country requires special quote - listed prices do not apply

Everything I ship is insured - The 20 and 30 gallon cans are cumbersome and are shipped as the USPS has recommended - it may not be pretty, but it reduces the cost approximately 75% - If a can arrives damaged we gladly replace the can, but I ask that you keep the original wrapping and I need pics of damage in order to process claim - you will need to participate in a damage claim by taking the damaged can to the USPS along with the wrapping

Most items are shipped within 2 weeks, but delays occur

Orders to the west coast go standard as priority is very expensive - if you would like priority you can request, but there will be an additional charge and it is expensive

I am currently in the process of working with UPS to see if we can come up with an affordable option to use this carrier also - due to our volume they are trying to work with me, but I do not have a solid option as of yet - will keep you posted.

Local orders can be picked up at the studio
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds are not a problem, but return shipping is not refunded in most cases - this is not written in stone and can certainly be discussed.

If a can does arrive damaged, it is replaced and we do not expect the damaged item to be returned - I want everyone to be happy with their purchase

All items must be returned as originally shipped, inclusive of insurance amount or refund is not processed.
