About

A little about me and my store

Hello and welcome to my studio!
My name is Ksenia Topaz, I am an artist with more than 20 years of experience in watercolor and ink painting, illustration and graphic design. My store features original prints inspired by everything that nature has to offer - trees, flowers, landscapes and more.
Taking on an artistic path was very much an inherent choice. Growing up in a family of artists - the smells of oil and turpentine, paintings on the walls, my parents’ extraordinary friends, family feasts and backpack trips, an excellent library and love of nature – all these were the elements that constructed my early years. With time, the connection between nature and art only grew and strengthened, and my path became clearer.
At the end of 2016 I decided to start selling my artworks online. Collection of botanical watercolor paintings continues to grow and take me on a journey of nature, exploration and discovery. Nature has become my biggest inspiration. I find myself working daily on new nature drawings such as spring tree blossoms and flowers, autumn leaves and seeds, wild herbs, branches and more. Nature has become not only my model, but also my tool as I create. I love to use nature’s branches (which I find on my daily walks outside), or other fallen treasures, and paint with their unique shapes and sizes.
Nature is also my daily reminder for change and fluidity - the colors and seasons continue to change, and my paintings follow right with them.
I’m very happy that you have come to my shop and I would love to be in touch about any questions or special requests that you may have. You are also welcome to my Instagram where you can follow my art creation and process closely.

Yours,
Ksenia

I grew up in a family of artists so my choice of a life path was almost predestined. Today I work in the field of illustration, enjoy Urban Sketchers meetings, participate in exhibitions. Here I display a part of my artworks, handmade and digital.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All items are carefully packed to avoid damage. I use two thin cardboards inside of the thick cardboard folder to sandwich the art/print, along with an archival tissue on the art surface and a cellophane bag.
