Hello.

I started out on Etsy in 2007, listing a bunch of my hand-carved plaster letters and some animals cut out of old corrugated iron. To my amazement I had my first sale within a few days, and the feeling it gave me was indescribable. I felt so humbled that someone out there on the internet liked my handmade item, and now it was going to live with them! For 12 years I worked under the name 'Kuberstore', but now I trade under my own name, Emily Engel.

I'm still making things out of my favourite material, cast plaster, and you'll still find some of the old Kuberstore faves here. I make all my own moulds and take pride in making quality hand-made items that I hope you will love.

I work from my home studio here in The Gap, in Brisbane, Australia. When I am not making things I like to garden, swim, hike, talk to my chickens and dream about finding lost treasure. Thanks so much for visiting!
