Creating a unique style of handmade clothing and accessories designed to express you!

KYEbags was birthed in 2005 in the small town of Seaside, California. Like many entrepreneurs finding their way in the handmade market, my business began with a need for an extra income and a dream to fulfill that quest with something I loved and could do from my home.

I especially pride myself in being a self-taught seamstress. I began learning to sew at the age of 12, with my mom's old foot-pedaled Singer machine. I still remember the day my parents purchased and brought home a brand new digital Husqvarna Viking. My sewing hobby really took off from there- working on projects such as pillows, curtains, doll clothes, needlework and an occasional bag for myself or friends. It wasn't until many years later that I would take up a real interest in fashion, through the avenue of bags and accessories, after realizing what a challenge it was to find something quality in mainstream retail to fit my unique personal style.

Since the start of KYEbags, my business has really evolved- enduring several moves across country and various life changes along the way. But one thing has always remained the same- that I've always carried it with me through the good times and bad. It's purpose has varied over the years- from creative outlet to financial provision. From a source of extra pocket change to a way to pay off debt. Whatever chapter of life I find myself in, KYEbags always seems to have a place, and I am thankful for the ever constant personal growth and stretching it has challenged me with.

All KYEbags are handcrafted, photographed, listed, packaged and shipped by me- in between caring for my children, being a wife and managing our home. My husband, Mike, holds up the technical end of things, and is always there when I need a listening ear to spill all my business questions, thoughts and creative rants on. He's accompanied me to many art show/festivals and I can always count on him for support.

Inspiration for my work comes largely from the happenings around me in my everyday life. Many of my designs are based off of the practical needs of myself as a mother, while trying not to sacrifice personal style and tastes. All of my purses and accessories are made in limited run, to ensure that my customers are truly receiving a quality item that is special and unique to them. My wish is that my creations will bring a smile to your face and bring a blessing to your home.

I truly love my customers and greatly appreciate each and every sale. Each order that is placed with KYEbags is sure to help provide for one of my family's many basic needs, or get us one step closer to our reaching our dreams- which to me, is a beauty of the private handmade business industry that I will never take for granted.

Payment
KYEbags accepts payment through Paypal and all major credit cards through the Paypal network.

You do not need a PayPal Account to pay for your items through PayPal.
You can choose the PayPal Option during checkout. After you submit your order click the “Pay Now” button. Scroll Down and you will see the option to pay with a Credit or Debit Card WITHOUT having to sign up for a PayPal account.

Orders will not be shipped until full payment is made and cleared to my PayPal/Bank account.

Shipping
KYEbags ships via USPS only. Your order will ship the following business day after payment is made and cleared to my account. KYEbags does not ship on weekends, U.S. government holidays and cases of extreme snow days. A shipping confirmation email will be sent to you via Etsy at the time your order has shipped. This email will provide an estimated date of arrival and tracking info, when it applies.

Most domestic orders are shipped via USPS Priority mail and arrive within 2-3 business days. All other orders will be shipped via USPS Parcel Post Mail and will arrives within 5-10 business days. If you have a preference on how your order is shipped or would like insurance added, please contact me before placing your order and I will adjust shipping costs accordingly.

International orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail and a tracking number is NOT provided. The estimated arrival date depends on the buyers mailing address, and will be provided in the shipping confirmation email sent via Etsy at time of shipping. If you would like an upgrade to International Priority Mail Shipping, please contact me before placing your order for an estimated shipping cost. Once approved, I will adjust shipping costs accordingly and your item will be ready for purchase.
Please note that international orders can sometimes take an additional 6-8 weeks from the estimated date of arrival given, due to delays at customs. This does not happen often, but can in rare cases and for unknown reasons. If you are unwilling to wait this amount of time, please make sure to ask for a full refund BEFORE your item is shipped.

All orders placed during peak U.S. holiday seasons have an assumed delay in arrival.

Once an order is shipped, I DO NOT make refunds or assume responsibility for the actions of the USPS. In the rare case that your order does not arrive within the time frame given, please contact me and we will discuss and handle the situation accordingly. How I choose to deal with the situation will be based on the circumstances. A full refund is not guaranteed.

Please make sure that the shipping address listed on your Etsy account and your PayPal account match. I will always ship to the address listed in PayPal, unless otherwise specified.

If your purchase is a gift, or you wish to not have a packing slip included, please be sure to specify this in the 'notes' box at the time of placing your order.
Refunds and Exchanges
At this time, all KYEbags sales are final. Please take this into consideration before placing your order. If you are not completely satisfied with an item purchased from my shop, please let me know and I will be glad to work with you.
Additional policies and FAQs
I will accept or deny custom orders based on my current availability, abilities and resources. I am always open to your ideas and love that I have the ability to incorporate your creativity in the adding of your personality to a desired item. This is what makes my job enjoyable and you a happy customer!

Once a custom order is presented to me, time frames, order details, costs, etc will all be discussed per email prior to the custom order's approval. Both parties must come to a full and satisfactory custom order plan before I will present an estimated cost and approval form on all potential custom orders. Once my estimate is approved by you, a down payment is due within 48 hours. Half of full payment is due up front, and the remainder upon completion of the order. Order will be shipped after remaining payment is made and cleared to my account.

Once a custom order is approved and down payment is made, payment will not be refunded should you change your mind. The same goes for a completed custom order. Unreasonable changes cannot be made to an order once it has been approved and a down payment has been paid; however, if a minor change in quantity/details is needed, please contact me and we will discuss the changes and how it will effect the total cost of the order. Changes to your order will result in adjustments being made to the final order costs.
