Hello!

My name's Kyle, Welcome to my shop. :)

I'm a graphic designer & illustrator by trade, mini maker & mixed media artist by some sort of creative calling.

What does that mean?

Well, it means that I have a friendly arsenal of learned techniques and creative ideas that allow me to make beautiful, quality works of art & design-for you.

I use my professional skills and knowledge to make eye catching, detailed creations that would look great in your dollhouse, or shadow boxes; Beautiful pieces of jewelry for your collection, digital prints/postcards of my unique illustrations, and small thoughtful gifts for friends and loved ones.

Most of my crafting inspiration comes from the people around me. I often set out to make a special gift for a friend or relative, and then keep making more. If my creations aren't the same high quality work I love to gift, or collect myself, then I don't put it in my shop (I have a box full of "learning experiences" to prove it).

Please enjoy browsing through my available work and feel free to contact me if you have any questions or requests.

Thanks for stopping by. :)

About

Hello, I'm Kyle. :)

Hello, I'm Kyle. Graphic Designer, Illustrator, and Artist. I'm a detail oriented, creative person who rarely gets bored (because I'm always making things).

See my full online gallery; http://kyle-lefort.deviantart.com/gallery/

After years of high school art classes (painting, ceramics, mixed media) and more 4-H craft projects than I could keep track of, I was accepted into the design program at Buffalo State college. For 4 long years I studied, drew, painted, sculpted, crafted, designed, and created my way into earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communication Design (2011).

Since then I've been working as a freelance Graphic Designer and Mixed Media Artist.

My professional design work has included logo designs/branding Identities for several groups/businesses, illustrations, and various web banners/flyers/business cards. Most clients are local, but once in a while I'll work for some small businesses online too.

My artistic work is considerably more varied in nature. There is an ever growing number of people, all over the U.S., enjoying my hand sculpted polymer clay charms, digital paintings, ornaments, and handmade Dollhouse Miniatures. Not to mention the occasional OOAK creation here and there. To quickly sum up why my work is so diverse: Boredom is a choice, and Creativity is all about possibilities.

I've been taking custom orders and doing commission work since early 2013. I have been commissioned to create everything from tiny painted butterflies for a miniature garden, here on Etsy, all the way up to an original mural painted on a utility box on Elmwood Ave. in Buffalo, NY. Like most artists, the only thing that limits what I can do is time and money (and those moments when you find yourself staring at a blank canvas).

Manufacturers

  • a professional third party printing service

    Kenmore, NY, United States

    A local company I entrust to print my digital paintings as high quality digital Art Prints. Out of stock prints in my shop may be printed on demand through this printing service. I am always responsible for orders placed through my shop.

  • a print products online printing service

    California, United States

    A California based company, according to their site they have expanded to some international locations too. I use this company for my Art Postcards because they can print using a UV protective coating that is super important for durable postcards.

***New York State residents: You are required to pay sales tax on any orders placed with my shop. The rate is 8% for most counties, but depending on your shipping address, you may be charged a slightly higher/lower rate. Tax rates will be applied automatically. If you feel that the rate issued to your sale was not correct, please let me know.
Shipping
Purchased items will be shipped, within a week of receiving full payment, unless otherwise discussed.

Please note, I cannot guarantee any shipping times or dates, once your order is in the mail that's up to the postal system. Things such as weather and holiday busy seasons can cause delays.

I try my best to be as efficient as possible when shipping, while still ensuring that each item arrives safely and undamaged.

*******************************************************************************************
Please make sure the address you provided with your order is correct. I am not responsible for any lost orders or additional shipping expenses incurred if you moved or typed in the wrong address. Thank you. :)
*******************************************************************************************
I Can Not combine shipping on prints and craft-work together. Prints are packed in flat rigid mailers, and craft-work is shipped in boxes. They have entirely different shipping methods and prices. Etsy's automated system may combine the shipping costs for your order, but if I can't pay the nice people at the post office, I can't ship your order. If you purchase a combination of these things you may be contacted about additional shipping costs or delays depending on your order (postcards/small prints might not be an issue). Sorry for the inconvenience. If you are reading this and panicking a little because you do want a combination of craft-work and prints, no worries, just place two separate orders. I will see that you are the same person and make sure that your entire order is sent to the same location. (Or contact me before placing an order, and I'll see what I can do.)

*******************************************************************************************

Since most of my craft work is very small in size, I can usually combine-ship several items into one small box. Multiple orders being sent to the same address will be combine-shippd as long as everything fits, safely, in one box.

If I ever find that you have been overcharged for shipping by $1.00 or more, I will refund the difference as soon as possible.

-Regular Customers!: I appreciate your business and am always looking for ways to thank you. If I am packing up your order and just happen to have an extra item or two in my inventory that I can afford to part with, I will send it your way (and I will attach a note letting you know it was not a mistake). This is not a guarantee, sometimes I just don't have the supplies available, but I do try.

*******************************************************************************************
***U.S. Customers***
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

-Most craft items are sent using USPS Priority Mail Flat rate boxes(2-3 days shipping U.S., according to their site). The advantage of using these boxes is that the total cost of shipping is based on the current shipping rate of the boxes used instead of the size/weight/price of an item purchased. These boxes come with tracking and are insured for the cost of your order (up to $50).

-Prints are shipped in rigid mailers, first class USPS with tracking.

-Postcards, may be shipped in standard letter envelopes, depending on the quantity ordered.

Based on experience, I am confident that these are the best shipping solutions for my work. (prices also includes any extra packing material needed for your order)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
***International Customers***
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I am only using USPS Priority flat rate boxes for international shipping at this time. Your total order must be under 4 pounds in weight, per box, but otherwise multiple orders placed/paid for at the same time, going to the same address will be automatically combine-shipped.

-Prints - I am now phasing in international shipping for Art prints, and will be using rigid mailers. If you would like your country to be added to the list, let me know, and I'll look into it. :)

Packages/mailers can take anywhere from 1-6 weeks to arrive, depending on things like your location and customs. Tracking may not be available/accurate once a package leaves the U.S. When your order arrives, feel free to let me know, even if there aren't any problems-I always appreciate knowing that my customers are enjoying their purchases.

>>>>>IMPORTANT INTERNATIONAL INFO<<<<<
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

/////////Country Conditions for Mailing
Buyer is responsible for knowing what is allowed in their country.
Please look up the rules/restrictions for your country before placing an order;
http://pe.usps.gov/text/Imm/immctry.htm

I may double check myself, once I have your address. If the item purchased is prohibited in your country, I will have to cancel the order.

/////////Customs, Fees, Taxes, Etc.

Buyer is responsible for any custom fees, VAT (Value Added Tax), duty tax, etc.
I am not allowed to collect or cover these expenses for you.

Please Note; Purchases from my shop can NOT be declared as gifts. The information needed for custom forms will be truthfully filled in.

I'm still learning international shipping regulations. In the event that I cannot ship something to your country, I will apologize repeatedly and refund your money.

If shipping costs for your country are not listed, but you would like to place an order, feel free to send me a message. :)
Refunds and Exchanges
If for any reason you are unhappy with your order --- Please contact me before leaving negative feedback. I'm not out to scam anyone, and I'll do what I can to correct any problems that occur. ***Do not return anything without contacting me on Etsy first. If I don't hear from you after you receive your order, I assume there are no problems. ~ Be sure to carefully read item descriptions before making a purchase. I try to accurately describe each item and provide clear photos. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

>>>Due to the nature of my work, Most items cannot be exchanged.
>>>I don't encourage returns, but I will accept them upon request within 1 week after delivery, as long as all items are returned in their original condition.

*****Buyer is responsible for any/all shipping costs. These can not be refunded.*****

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
If Your Order Was Damaged In The Mail...
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

If the item you received has been damaged in the mail, I will need you to provide clear photos of the damage. Most craft items are insured, but photos of the damage are required to file claims with USPS.

DO NOT send the broken item back to me (unless I instruct you to do so), that voids any insurance claim.
Additional policies and FAQs
***My work was designed for use by adult collectors and may contain small parts that are chocking hazards to young children. Nothing in my shop should be considered a toy****

I try to make item colors look as accurate as possible, but please be aware, actual colors may vary slightly from those you see onscreen.

I do not currently post listings for custom work, but if you would like a custom order, feel free to contact me. I don't mind a challenge.
(Minimum of 2 weeks needed to complete custom orders-prior to shipping. You will receive regular updates about your order as I work on it.)

If you would like multiple copies (5 or more) of any of my prints/postcards, contact me first, and I'll work out a bulk purchase discount for you.

***All items in my shop, unless otherwise noted, are © Kyle Lefort 2011 - 2016.
Sales of my work do not transfer any creative rights to the buyer. Artwork may not be reproduced or copied without my written permission. I retain all rights to make and sell prints and duplicates, even after the original work has been sold.

>>I am an Etsy Seller, not an online manufacturer for hire. I value my customers and I sell my work to them directly. I am open to discussing respectable business proposals provided that I'm given the option to opt in-not just to opt out. Thank you. :)
