earthy jewelry and stoneware components
Kylie Parry is a ceramic artist, specializing in handmade stoneware jewelry components and hand-built pottery. Her pieces are made using a variety of hand-carving, drawing, sculpting and image transfer techniques and are topped with earthy glazes and often, illustrated sepia decals.
Keeping the clay close to the earth, ceramic components are paired with natural elements (hemp, wood, seeds, recycled glass) in each jewelry design. Designs are simple and rustic- easy to wear, with a bohemian vibe.
She is inspired by nature and the weathered and vintage look of pieces from the past. Inspiration is collected on travels and adventures- to far-off lands and in her own backyard.
Kylie has a home studio, a sunny yellow room located on the 2nd floor of her 1920 craftsman home.
She shares her life adventures with her naturalist partner, Luke, and their two scruffy dogs, Finnley and Puppet.....and soon to be, squishy little babe (due in August!).
