    All of my jewelry is handmade in Santa Barbara, CA. I use the highest quality materials possible, while attempting to keep costs low. I typically use gold filled metals, and if metals are plated, I will say so.

    Gold filled jewelry is created by pressure-bonding gold over a base metal. It must contain a minimum amount of gold (1/20th of its weight) and therefore holds up much better than gold plated jewelry which has no minimum gold content. With proper care your gold filled jewelry can last a lifetime. It does not chip or peel like gold plated jewelry does.

    Handmade by a high school teacher in dreamy S A N T A B A R B A R A, CALIFORNIA.

    I've always crafted and created whenever possible. The hobbies are endless. This obviously turned into me working in a bead store (ideal teenage job), teaching myself how to make jewelry, and then into me turning into a jewelry and sculpture teacher. I got to teach high school students the art of jewelry, sculpture, leadership and event planning on a daily basis. Now I work for our school district, have a toddler and husband, and still try to fit jewelry in on the side.

    This page is a collection of jewels I have created in Santa Barbara, CA. I make jewels for everyday wear. Layer these bad boys...pile them on. My jewelry is made out of primarily gold filled metals, and occasionally gold plated metals. I also use a lot of semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls. My goal is to use the best materials possible while keeping things affordable.

    Originally from San Diego, I was an art major in college at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and also grew up making all sorts of art. Sewing projects, book arts, paper making, assemblage, sculpture, and jewelry have been favorites. Currently a teacher, my career in education started as a Jewelry and Sculpture teacher, and I loved drawing inspiration from my students and the fantastic ideas they came up with themselves.

    Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

    I want you to be totally satisfied with your jewelry! So, if there are issues, please convo me. But, being a small shop, with many custom items, I unfortunately do not accept returns at this time. Additionally, custom jewelry cannot be returned or exchanged.
    Payment
    I currently accept Paypal, credit and debit cards, and Etsy gift cards.

    California customers are subject to sales tax.
    Shipping
    Each piece of jewelry will arrive to you in kyoko town packaging ready for gifting or keeping.

    I aim to ship out packages in the time indicated on each item listing but will let buyers know if this is not the case. I ship using USPS first class mail (two to five days).

    I am very willing to ship to a giftees' address. In order to do this, when you purchase an item please indicate this request in the "message to seller" section. Please list the gift recipient's address as well, and I will be sure to not include any costs or invoices.

    *If you would like tracking, insurance, international, or faster delivery, please convo me and I can work to accommodate your request.

    **If you are a local shopper in Santa Barbara, CA and would like to pick up your item and not pay the shipping cost, please use code SBSHIP to waive the shipping fee.
