This is a beautiful lampwork bead. The artist is so talented. I can't wait to create my next "most beautiful" piece of jewelry.

This bead has violet accents on the leaves which add so much to the overall beauty. This is perfect for a necklace focal!

The lampwork glass beads are individually formed self-representing glass artists. Lampwork beads are created by the method of melting glass rods over a gas torch. The heart of the flame and the use of a steel mandrel help to form the beads. Each bead is then placed in a kiln to relieve stress and help reduce the possibility of cracking ( a process called kiln annealing ).

Additional policies and FAQs
Even though the beads are kiln annealed, please be aware that it is GLASS and is still susceptible to crack or break if dropped, handled roughly, or subjected to extreme, sudded temperature changes.Glass expands and contracts as it is heated and cooled, thus may crack in the event of an extreme change in temperture ( e.g.,worn into a jacuzzi ). Additional glass items will retain heat and serious burns may occur. Sculptural lampwork beads such as three dimensional flowers, leaves, animls, etc. are especially susceptible to breaking. Please discontinue usage if cracks, shattering, or defects occur and take the necessary precautions when discarding broken pieces in order to avoid injuries. As with any broken glass, sharp edges may cause physical injuries and / or damages. Not intended for young children.
