Hi, and Welcome to La Belle Vie Mais Oui! My name is Kristen and I’m the heart and hands behind the brand. I’m a wife, mama, maker, and breast cancer survivor.

You may be wondering, what does “la belle vie” mean? Well, I’m here to tell you! Literally, it’s French for “the good life,” but to me, it means so much more.

Back in 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage III breast cancer and subsequently went through chemo, surgery, and radiation (the works!). I know it seems cliché, but the experience really opened my eyes to the need to LIVE my life. For me, The Good Life means living life to the fullest, savoring every moment, even the unsavory ones, because each experience is an opportunity. It is an opportunity to show kindness and spread love, to take stock of your life and be thankful, or grow as a person. It’s taking time to smell the roses and appreciate the little things. It’s finding the joy in everything and doing that which gives peace to your soul.

At La Belle Vie Mais Oui, one of the things that gives me joy is making and sharing those makes with you! I love seeing the things I've created out in the real world giving joy to others. In my shop, you’ll find an assortment of crocheted accessories and gifts as well as a variety of digital products from crochet patterns to cut files and digital prints and invitations.
