Announcement   Welcome! Everything you want in jewelry is here -- ethical, handcrafted, sustainable, dainty and lovely! Oh yes and unique of course!

--I create jewelry by fabricating recycled and ethically sourced materials into something shiny and wearable. My style is characteristically simplistic and delicate. It is my goal to be virtually waste free and ethical in the materials and tools I use to create, as well as in my daily life. Another way I believe I can minimize waste is by using precious metals because I believe in heirloom quality.

I believe in high quality products and outstanding customer service -- I believe that its time for us to start buying ethically and environmentally friendly. I create with nothing less than this standard so I can supply my customers with a product they can trust. Quality over quantity.

Every piece I make is a one of a kind piece of wearable art made with love. The time I take to make each piece is very enjoyable to me, and I do my best to pass those vibes into my work.

Check out my sister shop - seebirds.etsy.com to purchase original and affordable artwork!

About

From day one I’ve been surrounded with what inspires my art. I was raised in rural Indiana, in a wooded wonderland far from the sounds of roads and civilization. Growing up immersed in the glory of nature’s vibrant hues and beautiful smells of soil and soul, I was able to cultivate a world in my art that reflects what I believe exists under layers of noisy chaos of modern life. I have a deep love and personal connection for living beings and growing organisms which carries me through my artistic expression. I was encouraged from a very young age to explore my artistic dialect. Because of this, I’ve been blessed with the ability to tap into a part of myself that finds great joy and satisfaction in conveying my view of the world with a creative freedom and flow. I sold my first painting at the age of 15. My accomplishments as an artist include an exclusive feature in the Star Press, as well as the opportunity to share my work with the public at Folly Moon in 2014. Some of my print work can be found at Dan’s Records in downtown Muncie.
I am a 2014 grad of Ivy Tech out of Muncie, with my degree in Hospitality Administration. I am in the beginning stages of fostering my career as a visual artist and designer in Louisville Kentucky. With that being said, I will always attribute my budding careers roots to life in Muncie.

If you were to know anything about my work, I think it's decisively conducive to know that I paint from the heart. I paint to optimism and zeal, and to me a piece is not complete if it doesn't (metaphorically!) touch you in some way. When I'm working on commission work, I don't give up unless I would hang it front and center in my own home.
Nothing in life is more enveloping than emotion.

I started making jewelry for many reasons, but firstly because it's becoming unnecessarily difficult to find high quality, timeless designs that are ethically produced.
I wanted to bring an option to the table that is good for the earth, the people of the world and that won't wear away over a few months.
My theory on adornment of the body is to be subtly bold. I create designs that are light reflective and interesting. I don't believe in cheap and trendy, I believe in beautiful and timeless. I use high quality metals and stones that will last for years rather than months. I also put the time into my work to make sure I'm providing jewelry that will last.

If you would like to know a little more about me and my work, here's some press for you to read.

I paint things in rainbow colors, but deep down I love the color indigo the most. Well, yellow really. But if I had to choose, I'd say green. I like rainbows. If I could go forever without wearing shoes, I wouldn't wear shoes.

Welcome! My jewelry is created all by hand, by me, from my original designs.

The gold and silver I use is high-quality and recycled.

I use both natural and lab-created gemstones. Lab-created stones are molecularly the exact same stone. I love the personality of natural stones, and I also love the purity of lab-created stones - speaking in terms of ethics and physicality. Because they are created in a lab, some argue that lab created stones are a higher quality product. They are also much easier to track and guarantee to be a product free of slave and child labor, poor and dangerous work conditions, and contributions to war funding. The natural stones I use are either vintage, estate, or ethically sourced.

All products purchased here have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. That means that this shop will accede your expectations in customer service, shipping, and creation of your purchased items. I design from the heart, create with care, and present my best possible for your enjoyment.

The items you find here are all created and shipped with the environment in mind. I take every step I can to minimize environmental impact, from my shop tools, to packaging, to festival display.
