Art Inspired by Shelter and Rescue Animals

As long as I can remember, I've been inspired by animals. When I started volunteering for a local animal shelter, I knew I had found my place in life. The shelter asked me to help with some artwork for their marketing materials, and I've been illustrating dogs, cats, rabbits -sometimes horses and pigs - ever since. Every animal has a story, and I imagine telling it through colorful patterns and designs. My hope is that people find joy in my work, and also awareness of the plight of homeless animals. Everyone can do something to help! Take the time to learn more about the good work being done in your area, and volunteer or donate if you are able.
