Announcement   I create handmade soaps using all natural vegetable oils. All of my soaps are vegetarian and many are vegan. Some of my soaps contain essential oils and fragrance oils. I love making soap and I hope you will love using them.

All of my soaps are made using the cold-process soap making method. If you would like to learn more about this process please check out my profile.

If you don't see what you want please let me know and I can make a special order item for you. I have made soaps for wedding gifts, breast milk soap for new mothers, and custom scents. Please allow 4 weeks for special order soap as I like to have the soap cure for at least 3 weeks to ensure a nice hard bar.

Sales tax: Connecticut residents pay 6.35% sales tax rate during PayPal checkout.

Want to see what I have been up to and what products you can expect me to post soon? Check out my blog: http://blog.ladybugsoapworks.net/

I am a proud member of the Etsyveg team, Connecticut Etsy Team, and Mad Scientist on Etsy.

About

Ladybug Soapworks

My story: I have always been interested in making beauty projects. I can remember trying to make lip balm and candles in my dorm room in college. I needed something fun and creative to take my mind off all the biology and chemistry homework that I had. I started making cold process soap in in grad school in 2007. Grad school was stressful and that resulted in not only a need for a creative outlet, but also a bad case of eczema. I dove into soap making with the hope that tossing out the commercial synthetic detergent "soap" and replacing it with real soap made from gentle oils would help my eczema improve. My skin is much better now and the addiction to soap making has never been stronger!
