Finding a way to share my unique aesthetic with the world...

I really enjoy hunting for treasure, especially vintage fabrics, dolls and toys
and enjoy bringing them back to life or finding new and interesting ways to present them to the world. I have worked in film, theatre and advertising, designing costumes, making props and building sets. I have also styled a number of large scale events.
I decided to open a shop, as a way to release my creative urges out into the world.
I have always made things, I particularly enjoy making clothing for my children, and creating tiny things like dolls and toys. So using these skills, as a starting point for my own sewing, pattern making and design work.
I studied fashion design in 2007 and after having my son in 2009, I thought having an online shop would be a lovely way to carve out a creatively satisfying living.
While being able to stay home and care for my young children.

Welcome to Lady Froufrou. Sustainability and repurposing are very important to me, for the sake of the planet and our combined future. I am a maker who loves to use and re-purpose salvaged and vintage materials. I collect, salvage, repair and curate most of the items in my shop, while others are made by me.
I will be releasing limited runs of the things I make. Aside from the rainbow Kewpie dolls and Custom Hybrid Cuties, I am not accepting custom orders at this time.
I try to describe the condition of vintage items to the best of my ability, including flaws and imperfections, it is rare that a vintage item is in mint or unused condition, unless otherwise expressly stated.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

*Cancellations- A cancellation fee of 25% will be applied to any cancelled order, to cover relisting fees, packing materials and my time. This is Not Negotiable.
* I Do Not Accept Returns on dispatched orders.
*While I make every effort to describe the condition and flaws of all items within my shop, Vintage items are more often than not, preloved and not mint, unless expressly stated. I take great care when wrapping parcels to post.
*Once an item is posted the handling conditions are beyond my control.
If an item is damaged in transit, please get in touch so that we may work out an amicable agreement.
Payment
I accept paypal and Etsy payments only.
Etsy Payments take up to a week to reach me,
so please keep that in mind when ordering.
Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred.
Please ensure you are familiar with the import and customs policies for your region. While awaiting the arrival of a purchase, please familiarise yourself with my shop policies, including handling times and customs policies.
Shipping
*I ship once a week on Wednesdays.
* I will let you know once the item is shipped and forward any tracking information to you.
* If you require express delivery, insurance or signature on delivery, message me at the time of purchase and we can upgrade your postage rate.

*International postage Now includes Tracking , Since the Global Pandemic.
The Postage Prices are set By Australia Post, not by me, I cannot offer postage discounts.
* Insurance or Signature on delivery as standard, If you require these services, please message me at the time of purchase and I can add them to you order.

* l use Australia Post and charge the lowest rate possible for shipping.
* I use recycled boxes and packing materials, to keep down costs and because it is much better for the environment.
* I try to research shipping costs well, but dependent on your location, sometime it can be more and other times a little less.

* I am happy to combine postage for multiple orders , just ask me for a quote before purchasing.

Q: Can I get this item at a discount?
A: I research my prices thoroughly, and take into account, my time, fees, expenses and rarity of my items. All Prices are firm, but if you are particularly keen on something, I
can reserve it for you until you are ready to pay for it in full.

Q: Can I get Free/Discounted Postage?
A: As much as I would love to, I just simply cannot afford to cover the cost of postage for you, I charge the lowest possible rate for Postage, based on current Australia Post Prices.

Q: Can I cancel My Order?
A: Cancellations will incur a cancellation fee of 25% of your total order price, this is to cover re-listing fees, packing materials and my time spent dealing with your order, this is not negotiable.

Q:When will my order be posted?
A: I post weekly, on Wednesdays*, after your Etsy payment has reached my account.
Once shipped, I will contact you with any tracking information.
*Unless a prior arrangement has been entered into before the completion of the sale.

Q* Do you offer personalised messages/ notes /cards and custom wrapping for gifts?
A* I can wrap orders especially as a gift and add a note or card with a personalised message to the recipient, just send me a note during checkout and we can figure out the specifics.

Q: Do you offer express postage?
A: I can offer express postage at an extra cost, dependent on your location. send me a conversation or a note at check out and we will nut out the specifics.
*Please note, some international express postage options are very expensive, for even the smallest item.

I am happy to take custom orders of colour preferences and multiples for Rainbow Kewpie dolls. A 50% deposit is required before commencement of order.
