I am Lynne, Fiber Artist. Thank you for visiting my Shop. Please enter my Shop Door
My love of fiber and knitting began as a young child. My maternal grandmother had a flock of sheep and a spinning wheel. My memories to this day are vivid of fun times on Grandmas' farm.
As an adult I had a career in the Financial world but always hung on to my fiber dream.
In the 1990's my husband and I bought property in beautiful Door County, Wisconsin and began raising Shetland sheep among other creatures. I learned to spin my own fiber at Sievers School of Fiber Arts on Washington Island, Wisconsin. Our sheep and llama are now living at another local farm. Raising sheep is challenging and hard work.
Conditions changed for us but we still are involved with fiber people.
I only use fiber from local farms or other etsy shops. I love Etsy😍
My studio is in my home in Sisterbay, Wisconsin and Vistancia, Arizona.
I will include some photos. I also have begun painting in acrylics and hope to open a sister etsy shop next winter. My paintings mostly depict women.
Thus my story in a nutshell.
