Selling High Quality Custom Synthetic Dreads and Braids Worldwide!

For as long as I can remember, I have been experimenting with my hair. I've had long hair, short hair, and even no hair at all. I've dyed my hair so many times I can't even remember all the colors and combinations. However there was a downside to that: my hair was tired and depressed pretty much all the time.

In the year of 2004 I first considered braiding my hair with some additional material (at the time it was yarn), and oh my that went well! I fell in love with hair extensions, and realized that my hair doesn't have to be tired and depressed after each new hairstyle. Since then, I've tried all kinds of braids, natural hair extensions, and, finally, synthetic dreads. Dreads have been my favorite way of changing my hairstyle for a long time. After years of experience, I know they're perfectly safe and amazing if you want to go crazy with your hair, or just add some volume, or simply change something without actually changing your natural hair.

I've been working locally for more than 12 years, making my customers happy with their new hair. In December of 2016 my then-future-husband Caleb suggested I shouldn't limit myself to my home town and start making dreads and braids for people all around the world. Shortly after, we opened our Etsy shop, and it's been a great journey for both of us so far!

I love what I do, and I love that I can share my products with anyone out there who wants to change. Every happy customer makes me a happy little dreadmaker, this is why I'm always trying my best to make the sets as perfect as they can be. I hope you find what you're looking for in my shop!

With love, Laetilocs.

Frequently asked questions
Where Are Your Color Choices?

Our color palette is available at: https://laetilocs.com/color-palette.

Please feel free to contact us for assistance choosing your colors! :)

Sizing details

While we provide all the available sizing options that the customers can choose from, please note that all the items are handmade and therefore measurements can often be approximate. This especially pertains to items made from stretching materials (such as headbands, scarves etc) and handmade dreads. Please allow a small offset for handmade items.

What if I can't afford to pay for my entire order at once? Is there an option for me?

Yes! I do allow partial payments (similar to layaway) via the PayPal payment method for those who would like to pay in parts. Contact the shop if you would like to use this plan. The processing time STARTS once the order is paid in full.

I don't see my question here....

Please don't hesitate to message me anytime with any questions. :) I respond ASAP with a 100% response rate!

How Long Will My Set Take to Make?

Our processing time is generally a good estimate but due to us being a small, 2 employee business, we cannot guarantee that we will ship all sets on time. If we are backed up on orders, we will do our best to ship them out in the order in which the order came in. If you need your set by a certain date, please let us know before you order so we can let you know if it will be in your hands on time.
