For the Joy of it

LajoieStudios represents artists Andrew Verge and Jessica Farncombe who operate a studio out of their home in Hamilton, Ontario. Together since 2003, this husband and wife team were inspired to create a forum to not only sell their original works of art but to share their eclectic, artistic vision of home.

Jessica has a bachelors degree in Fine Arts from York University and both previously attended Toronto’s Rosedale Heights School of Art—where they first met and fell in love. Since then, they have shared a love of painting, photography and design as well as hunting out rare and vintage finds together.

For us, this shop is about living our passion for art and design. More importantly, it is about helping you to find original artwork as well as rare and unique, stylish pieces to furnish your own living space at a reasonable price.
