Hi there & welcome to our Lakeshore Collection shop! I'm Cindy Neuhaus, a long-time model horse collector & photographer. I achieved my dream and own The Lakeshore Collection, Ltd., which produces fine bisque porcelain horses in limited editions.

I've been working with long-time ceramic artist & mold maker George Boothe, and my skills & knowlege have really improved & I'm thankful for our collaberation!

Anything offered here is 100% newly made (we start with a commercial "body" as our "canvas", glaze, but then what happens is up to the kiln, the fire & the smoke!), not previously owned or re-sold.

Payment
Payment due within 10 days of purchase. I have a secure website & can take MC/VISA CC/debit cards or you can call the info in, but link or phone number will only be provided after you purchase THROUGH Etsy. Checks & money orders are also accepted. Paypal available upon request.

Illinois residents add 6.6% sales tax. Shipping is in addition to purchase price.

Returned checks are subject to $25 processing fee.

Actual amount billed to your account on international VISA/MC transactions will vary depending on the currency exchange rate at time of processing.
Shipping
Each piece is in a gift box with custom-molded styrofoam shell, then placed in a cardboard box with packing for shipping. International orders happily accepted! Shipping is next business day. Individual pieces are via USPS, multiples purchased/shipped together via UPS (those can't go to PO boxes).
Refunds and Exchanges
If you're not happy with your purchase, notify me within 10 days of receipt for return (at your expense) authorization & we'll happily exchange upon its safe return with all original packaging & in original, unused condition. If you're not happy with the replacement, notify me within 10 days of receipt for authorization & upon its safe return as above, you'll be refunded purchase price (selling price only---not including shipping costs) less a 20% restocking fee.

Unless it's a discounted piece believed to have a firing crack, which is clearly stated in the description, if you purchase a piece & it arrives broken, upon its return at your expense, you'll have your choice of replacement sent to you free of charge.

Breakage is rare but can happen, so if you need to return or exchange a piece, insurance is recommended as we're not responsible for breakage or loss on the return trip.

Note that since no two can ever be alike, it's impossible to do another like it.
Additional policies and FAQs
All claims must be made within 60 days of order date.

Your confidential information (mailing address, email, CC info)is never kept after completing the transaction, much less ever shared with anyone!

Depending on my schedule, I accept custom photography orders, but George does not accept custom ceramics orders.

Due to the process of being burned in fire & the use of special glazes which are intended to become molten during firing, Raku "Art of Fire" pieces may exhibit colors that appear different depending on light & angle, texture, gouges & scrapes, imbedded char or other material picked up from the burning materials themselves, or glaze coverage inconsistencies that are not considered detrimental or flaws, but as characteristics and hallmarks of authentic fired ceramic Raku art pieces.
