Welcome to the ♥La macón♥ shop. Everything here is designed, sewn and created by Moi (excluding the vintage items recently listed). I always try to be respectful of the environment and strive to be eco-friendly whenever possible. I use new leather hides but in some cases I use vintage, gently loved, and repurposed hides. I also use a variety of weights and types ranging from cowhide, latigo, kidskin, lambskin and upholstery. Depending on the piece, I try to use the most appropriate skin and weight for that particular design. Each item takes hours to complete and in some cases, longer....

The leather is supple and the lining is really exciting and retro. It fits perfectly too! This was packaged so well with beautiful tags and everything. The customer service was outstanding and the shipping was so fast! I cannot say enough about how much I love this piece. I've already gotten so many compliments!

It all began with a love of Sewing, Handbags and Leather.
It all began with a love for tiny Barbie handbags. I am obsessed with the doll and I remember the cute little shiny bags and clutches that went with all of her outfits....It's no surprise that years later I studied Fashion Design and upon graduating I began working in costume. I then apprenticed with a few local leather designers and that is where I learned a few tricks of the trade and have been making my own stuff ever since.
I love the way leather molds while working with it and the way it gets better with age. Consequently, I love a good leather handbag and the way I feel while I wear one and how they complete my real life outfit!
