About

Inspire yourself to inspire others.

I am, by nature, a very imaginative and creative person. I try to live my experiences like they are new and fresh; a discovery. I try to think outside the box, but sometimes I think inside the box. I used to hate the rain, but now that I live in a rainy city, I have a beautiful pair of rain boots and I like splashing in puddles and watching rain roll down the street.

When I was young, I found myself at a crossroad. The left was fine arts, jewelry design and a colorful imagination. The right was logic, sciences, and biology. I initially chose biology, working hard to become the scientist I am today; which I have thankfully, been able to make my own road back to jewelry design!

I started LanaBetty because I was desperate for change, bored of the everyday, and needed a creative outlet. LanaBetty began in Kelowna, BC and is now located in Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada). As a biologist working in Quality Assurance, it was hard to have the freedom of expression in the giant, corporate machine. I am now working (my butt off) designing from the heart, creating thoughtful, functional, geometric designs for all ages.

Mission Statement:
LanaBetty is about local, indulgent, geometric jewelry design focusing on smiles, clean lines, and new ways to solve for x.

Production partners

  • An Industrial 3D Print Company

    New York, NY

This company owns a high-resolution 3d printer capable of SLS printing. This type of printing is what allows steel to be fused together, layer by layer, to become the 3d object I have designed.
