The scent of this soap is amazing, as was the packaging. However, for a shaving soap it lacks lubrication, such that added oil, glycerine, or something similar would provide. Compared to my other shaving soaps, I experience more razor drag and nicks with this one. Love the fragrance, just add more lubrication and I’d be all over it.

I began this shop when just one week before my 20th anniversary in advertising sales in corporate America, I left my job. I realized life was too short to be as miserable as I was so I left. Of course mortgage had to still be paid and I knew I wanted to do something more fulfilling, so I set up a handcrafted soap company.

While making soap was rewarding as more people began their journey into owning a handcrafted business, I knew soap wasn't my niche, but what I learned in the process, was how to use herbs and the plants formerly known as weeds. So I began brewing, and mixing and blending, and creating tinctures, elixirs, salves, body creams and herbal tea.

And while I enjoyed making the pretty and the whimsical what I really want to do is make products that help you create a natural home apothecary that helps you heal, while allowing you to find a reconnection to the therapeutic and nurturing power of nature.
