Welcome to LANDFALL shop...Since 2009, I have listed landscapes. I haven't given that up but have added a new section of nature-based alternative photography, the occasional cyanotype.

My small paintings are made of acrylic/encaustic on reclaimed wood. The subjects are always land: soil, place, gardens, forests, parks, vacations, road trips...the diversity and grandeur of the American landscape. You might even find where you live or travel.

The work looks best grouped. The example shown here is from my NYC solo show, October 2015.

I began painting landscape memories on small bits of wood with a special encaustic recipe.

I have made 1000s of little paintings, all unique. The first 1000 or so became the basis for my shop in 2001 or so (I had a storage problem!). I have been thrilled to see them travel around the world into new homes. Each one is different, never mass produced. The paintings are made in my NYC studio (which is why they are small). I hope you can find a place that you can love... that you can imagine going to on a road trip.
