Years ago I would get creative with hair, I was a hair salon owner and loved making people feel beautiful. After years of standing on my feet I was looking other ways to be creative. I have always had a love for fabrics, threads and buttons. My fondest memories were going to a fabric store here in North Carolina with my mother called Piece Goods. They had huge bins of buttons and I would stand there running my hands through them like they were sand. Ha!

One day my husband and daughter decided to surprise me with a new sewing machine. I was so excited. I remember sitting there just looking at it. I started sewing little things like pillows. Then I moved up to sewing my daughter a few outfits. It wasn't long before I started making accessories like purses and pouches for family and friends. I am no longer doing hair full time, just a few family members…

I have more than 19 years of working with fabric and design. I also design and sew my own patterns for purses, aprons, children's wear and home decor. You can often find me sitting behind a sewing machine or walking around a fabric store .

I love running my Etsy shop. I do it all, from finding fabrics, washing, cutting and sewing the fabrics. Create a pattern and sew the item. I take the photos, edit/resize them, write the descriptions, list the items, package and ship them. I love it and I take pride in each and every item.
