Lane Mitchell Jewelers is a family owned Diamond Design Studio and full service jeweler with two locations in the Colorado Springs area. We are known for custom, vintage, and one-of-a-kind jewelry and exceptional customer service. Lane is a master goldsmith, and has been making jewelry for over 40 years (he started when he was 16). He has been in Colorado Springs for over 25 years and at the current location for more than a decade.

Prior to opening his own shop, Lane worked for Southgate Jewelers and was the manager at the original Manitou Jacks. His creativity and attention to detail are unmatched. He serves customers from all over the United States, from Oregon to Florida. Customers drive from Boulder and Canon City just to be able to have the opportunity to work with Lane.

The Colorado Springs shop is designed so that everyone who walks in the door speaks with a jeweler personally, whether it is for designing a custom piece, selling gold, looking for a unique piece for a special person, or simply asking a question. Our Manitou Springs store is located in historic Manitou Springs, CO in a totally restored historic building built in 1904. People will find a wide range of gold, silver and platinum jewelry: modern, vintage, antique and estate. We also carry Native American silver jewelry and Old Pawn, as well as fashion silver. There is something for every test and every budget.

Downtown in Colorado Springs, you will find L'Aura, Lanes wife, her son Jared, Lane's daughter Karli, and many other talented employees. Jared graduated from college with a degree in Economics, and can be found working on the bookkeeping, eBay and Etsy. Karli helps in the shop waiting on customers and repairing jewelry.

L’Aura has a degree in business, and has apprenticed with Lane for 5 years. Together, this couple shows that a family run business is genuinely the most affordable, personable, and personal way to do business! Additionally, Brandon, a son also living in Colorado, does all the web design and web work.

Lane and L’Aura live in Manitou Springs with their dog Mattie and their cats Jasper and Charlie. They like to go camping, motorcycle riding, and fishing, and enjoy having family picnics and playing poker with friends. They have 4 grown children, two daughter-in-laws, a son-in-law, and 9 grandchildren. (8 of them living in the Colorado Front Range area)
