An exciting adventure unfolds as you begin the process of translating your vision into a one-of-a-kind invitation. We specialize in making the potentially overwhelming task of creating the perfect design a simple and rewarding experience. Thoughtful composition, elegant typography, classic printing techniques and luxurious papers are carefully considered in light of the vision you have for your wedding or event.
Inspiration is everywhere, but naturally the foundation for it all begins with you. Everything about you as a couple - from how you first met to your favorite song or sports team; even quirky little personality traits can be incorporated creatively into the theme of your invitation design. We've even included the family pet in our design before!
A multitude of other sources such as architecture, nature, music, art, fashion, history and culture also play an important role in creating avenues that enhance the mood and aesthetic being portrayed. We embrace a thoughtful and refined approach to design, telling your story and bringing your vision to life in refreshing and imaginative ways.

Prices are in American dollars. Prices are subject to change without notice. Half (50%) payment is due up front and the remainder is required upon completion of printing. Orders will not commence until the first payment has cleared. Pricing quotes do not include tax or shipping.
Signature Stationery package prices include up to 3 rounds of electronic proofs.
BESPOKE / COUTURE PROCESS
The creation of your couture wedding invitations begins with a detailed consultation by phone, email or in person that will take approximately an hour for us to gather the information needed to best complement your wedding vision. You will be given an estimate after your consultation.
Bespoke Stationery package prices include unlimited rounds of electronic proofs.
SUPPLY & STOCK
Our standard invitation stock is MAC Premium Papers Classic in white with a luxurious #100 weight. Most papers meet the mark of responsible forestry; FSC Certified, Carbon Neutral, Green Seal Certified, and Processed Chlorine Free.
All orders are subject to the availability of materials and paper stock selected. Should Lano Design Studio be unable to supply to the specifications of the ordered product, this shall be advised to you within 24 hours of placing your order and an alternate option given. You are under no obligation to accept the alternative option.
PROOFS / APPROVAL
Lano Design Studio shall provide a final layout during the design of your invitation, including a final PDF of the design delivered by email. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure all text and content are correct. Lano Design Studio does not take responsibility for customer omissions or errors. Spelling and punctuation checks are the responsibility of the customer. Once approval is submitted by the customer, your files will be given to the printer within 12 hours, unless you contact us. If printing has commenced, and the customer requires changes to be made, a reprint charge of the total order amount plus 10% will apply.
Please keep in mind that due to the process of handmade invitations, there will be slight variations in color & print. Beware that colors are not exact on digital proofs and variations will depend on your monitor settings.
WHAT IS A PROOF?
A proof is a file image showing exactly how your items will be printed. Proofs are extremely important because the file that generates your approved proof is used to create the printing plates which print your invitations and stationery.
PLEASE PROOF-READ CAREFULLY. ONCE YOU APPROVE THE PROOFS, THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER REVIEW OF YOUR ORDER FOR SPELLING, PUNCTUATION OR CONTENT.
Orders canceled during the proofing process and before final proof approval will be processed for a 50% cancellation fee.
Orders that have been proofed and approved cannot be canceled.
Within the United States, we deliver your goods to you via UPS/Fedex where a signature is required upon receipt of the goods. If you are not home at the time of delivery, your goods will be made available at your nearest post office. As a signature is required upon receipt of your goods, we cannot deliver to P O Box addresses.
DAMAGE DURING TRANSIT
We take great care packaging your goods to ensure they reach you in perfect condition and therefore cannot be held liable for any damage whatsoever caused by third parties or be held liable for any delay in delivery by third parties. Optional shipping insurance is available to the buyer at the buyer’s expense.
REFUNDS / ERRORS
It is our standard policy that refunds are only made if goods are found faulty. Any faults or defects must be advised in writing/email within 3 days of receiving your order and your complete order must be returned to us within 7 days of receiving your order. The full order must be packed securely so as to avoid any damage during transportation. We cannot be held legally responsible for any errors or additional charges incurred once you have formally approved the artwork. This includes, but is not limited to: Spelling, grammar or errors due to film, stock, shipping, or color problems. We do not offer refunds or accept returned stationery because of the natural printing effects. We assure you that our stationery is printed to the highest professional standard and take pride in the quality of stationery we produce.
If you receive an item that is misprinted compared to the signed off proof, please notify us and it will be reprinted and sent to you at no charge. However, client errors that are signed off through the proofing process are to be reprinted at the client’s expense. It is the client’s responsibility to make sure all copies are correct.
Lano Design Studio is fully committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information that you share will be used simply to process your orders and under no circumstances will they be given to any third party other than those directly involved in the creation of your product eg. our commercial printers or where we would be required by law to do so. Upon completion of the order, we will continue to treat all information as strictly confidential.
All information, designs, illustrations, artwork, photography and website content are protected by copyright laws. All copyright is wholly owned and reserved by Lano Design Studio, no part may be reproduced in whole or part under any circumstances. Under no circumstances can any of our products be re-sold without written permission beforehand.
If a photograph has been taken by a professional, the photographer owns that Copyright unless you have a written agreement that states otherwise. By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, you accept that you have written permission to reproduce and distribute the photograph and indemnify Lano Design Studio from any liability associated with the photograph that you have provided.
Lano Design Studio holds ownership and copyright on all designs whether from our existing lines or custom designed. Lano Design Studio also reserves the right to use/reproduce any part of any stationery produced by Lano Design Studio for marketing purposes and future designs.
