Rainbow Gnome Kit
Handmade felted flowers, peg dolls and kits all inspired by the natural surroundings of Vermont.
I have always had a love for the garden , especially flowers. Dried flower wreaths and arrangements were how I started crafting a living with flowers.
After discovering felting at our local Waldorf School where my daughter started Kindergarten (many years ago) I started on a path of transforming wool into simple felt balls, animal figures and finger puppets. Eventually I came back to my love of flowers, studying their form and transforming the felt into flowers.
Many years later I am still a part of the Early Childhood Program at our Waldorf School and love to create felt gnomes and other magical felted folk that are loved by the children.
I work in my home studio where the beauty of our garden, views of the distant hills and meanderings on our woodsy paths are an inspiration.
Even though I do have my own private studio to work in, my dear husband is more than gracious when my felting spills over to the dining room table. He is a craftsman himself, quite skilled in carpentry and is amazing me with his new knife making skills, hand forging blades from iron and using our local hardwood for the handles. I will not be surprised to see him open his own etsy shop in the near future.

Most items are shipped USPS First Class Mail and on occasion USPS Priority Mail.
