Love my new laptop case!! Heather was amazing to work with. She graciously customized the case to fit my needs. I'm so happy with it :)

About

A Beautiful Piece of Africa for your Life.

I started this shop after returning from Rwanda, East Africa, in October 2011. I had so much beautiful African wax print that I had purchased in Rwanda, in Ghana in 2008 and that a cousin had given to me from Cameroon, that I wanted to share this beautiful product with the rest of the world.

Thus, came LanYap Fabrics. I decided to start sewing padded sleeves for laptops, iPads, kindles, nooks, phones, etc.

It is incredible to me that a piece of fabric I purchased in Africa and brought back to Minneapolis, is now travelling the world in Denmark, Australia, Maryland, Texas, California, and more!

I have also recently started adding cotton fabrics that I've purchased in the US. I love these beautiful fabrics and couldn't resist adding them to my shop.

I hope you LOVE these laptop sleeves as much as I love making them.

{A word about our shop name}

"LAN-yap" means "a little something extra." My grandfather always encouraged my mom to open a shop named LanYap.
