Cute towels, with a personal message and nice packaging. One thing to note is that they came covered with some sort of light grey hair..pet? human? not sure but I had to clean them as the person I was going to give it to is allergic to pet hair.

It has arrived so fast! The item is so beautiful, well-made and chic! I like the navy blue colour, I think this makeup bag is so simple and elegant both inside and outside. Not to mention the nice canvas sack and the lovely handwritten greeting card which also came with it. Thank you so much!!!

About

My Husband Bought Me A Sewing Machine...

It all started with Martha Stewart... When Martha first came on the scene many years ago, my Mom and I used to watch her show, buy her books, cook the recipes she made, and make the crafts she wrote about in her magazines. It's safe to say we were obsessed.

I can't remember a time when I wasn't interested in making things. We used to make our own ornaments and wrapping paper at Christmas, paint our eggs at Easter, designs amazing costumes for Halloween. It became a family affair! We always did the whole DIY thing and we loved it. As I got older, I got more into the visual arts, and started going to school to study photography. I would still "craft" in my spare time, but my main focus was capturing beautiful moments with my camera.

After I graduated I got a job in the photography business and I started to lose my interest in creating images. Once you do something all day, every day, it starts to become more of a job and less of a hobby. I started to miss the days where I took pictures of the things I wanted to take pictures of. I was searching for a way to satisfy my creative hunger in other ways, and thats when my husband bought me a sewing machine.

I spent the next year teaching myself how to sew. I learned about fabrics and techniques, accessories and notions. The possibilities were endless! Once you get the hang of the basics, you can really go in any direction! I studied how patterns were made and started switching things up. Customizing things to the way I thought might be better, and things were actually working! I started making items for friends and family and the response was great. I started to think that this could be something that I could really do on the side! I had finally narrowed my interest down into something that I could actually have a viable business in.

And thats kinda where I'm at now. I started with purses and bags and got up an inventory which is what I have for sale now. I have plans to extend my designs to items for the home, but the majority of requests I have from customers are for baby and pet products. I am working away on designs and fabrication, so hopefully you will stick around to see what I can do.

I am so happy you are here, reading about my journey, looking at my products. I want to know more about you! I want to work with you 'cause I think we can make some really awesome stuff! So stick around, leave me a note, have fun on here! Follow my blog (http://lastkeycreations.blogspot.ca) where I am always going on about the latest craft trends and about my little life with my husband and my cats up in the country!
Lets be friends!
