My best advice is to stay as far away from this seller as possible. I ordered a hat from her that arrived literally reeking of cigarette smoke. When I contacted her for a return and requesting prepaid shipping, she refused to take any responsibility whatsoever for the issue, telling me she "had no idea" why the item smelled like that. Ridiculous! Even the box it arrived in reeked of smoke, so I sort of suspect she knows exactly why everything smelled like that and is probably herself a smoker. She offered me no options whatsoever, just continued to deny any culpability. I am opening a case with Etsy, but in the meantime, again, my advice is to avoid this seller at all costs. Worst Etsy experience EVER (and I'm a regular shopper)!

This dress is definitely my new favorite! I’ve ordered many of Heather‘s dresses through the years, and they’re always my go-to for comfort and artistic style.

This cocoon/opera coat is STUNNING!!!! I have over 50 pieces of velvet and this one is for sure the winner. Dress it up, throw it on with jeans or just wrap your naked body up in it. Simply AMAZING!!!!

Love my circular denim dress with sleeves. This is one of my favorite pieces.
Art Shows To Country Life !!!❤️❤️❤️
i have been sewing since i was a young teenager. the females in my family are pretty creative so a lifelong pursuit of art in various forms has always been a big part of my life. another even bigger part of my life are my 6 children and 5 (so far) grandchildren.
i started selling my 'art to wear' while in high school. i made purses out of recycled jeans and knitted handles and embroidered cool stuff on them. i love creating cool stuff from fabric.
when i became a mother i found that my 'art to wear' business helped me still have a piece of myself, to myself...mostly :-) and i worked at home. excellent
as my children got older i did various art shows around the midwest where i live. i won a couple of 'best of shows', met some other creative people and had a pretty good time.
finding out about etsy and opening a shop has been, and continues to be, a great way for me to reach a really big audience and have a 'continual art show' minus the traveling.
i continually learn new things about my dying and sewing, and how to do my etsy shop and i love to convo with my patrons! :-)
I have 8 grandchildren now !!
I live in Kansas in an old refurbished farmhouse. I live alone with my little dog Toto.
I still enjoy creating all kinds of things. I knit and crochet. I love to do beadwork.
Thank you everyone for loving my Art to Wear
