About

I can't wait to start making your order and look forward to many years of filling up your jewelry box with Laurane Elisabeth Designs.

I’ve always had a creative side ever since I was a little girl.
I grew up in Leominster, Massachusetts. There were many ways I got creative even outside. Either building forts in the woods or digging igloo’s in the snow. Never a dull moment and when it was time to come in I would always be drawing or making some kind of crafts.

My mom had a sewing machine and I loved to make funny animal pillows and back then I actually made all of my jeans skinny at the bottom. My mom and sister were also creative they did mostly sewing, lots of sewing. That never really stuck with me, although it would have come in handy sometimes.

Fast forward to being a young mother of 2 living in Southern California and working full-time. I would be at my local nail salon and in the corner was a display of the cutest jewelry. None of which was in my budget, but every time I went in it was fun looking at the beautiful designs. As time went on I thought about those gorgeous pieces that would take half my paycheck if I bought them.

I decided to check out a local bead shop in Costa Mesa, CA. I walked in and was so overwhelmed by the hundreds of strands of the most colorful beads and stones. When the woman behind the counter said “Can I help you with anything?” that was my moment. I told her about my many trips to the salon and the beautiful display of jewelry and how it was so expensive. She immediately took me under her wing and showed me a few basics to make a necklace. With each trip to her store she showed me something new.

I started making my own jewelry designs to wear and give as gifts. It wasn't long until I was invited to sell at the local churches and schools at Christmas time. Eventually selling my jewelry throughout the year at trunk shows in homes, salons and artisan shows while always keeping my prices affordable enough for anyone to enjoy.

Fast forward many years and a 3rd kid later. I am now focusing on my Etsy Store and my own website. I’m so excited for many to enjoy my designs. I make most of my items when they are ordered and I’m proud to say made in the USA with materials sourced mostly from the USA as well. I hand form my earrings in many different shapes and sizes. Each piece will be slightly different from the next. If you truly appreciate handmade items you will love my jewelry. I can't wait to start making your order and look forward to many years of filling up your jewelry box with Laurane Elisabeth Designs.

My name is Riley. I'm a 10ish-year-old Bichon/Poodle Mix. Laurane's family is my 3rd or 4th one. It's been 8 years so I think they are keeping me. When I'm not trying to sit on Laurane's lap I just watch her work and give her moral support.
