Connecting Through Craft

Thanks to Mom, Aunt Vee, Aunt Grace and Gram, I became a needle crafter as a little girl. Yarn charts and pattern books still have the power to totally distract me from Everything Else I Should Be Doing! It's a miracle to me that needles, hooks and yarn can transform into something tangibly real right before my eyes.

Needle crafting connects me with my family and with those throughout the ages who have done exactly the same thing. It's an historical and deeply personal means of expression.
