Lauren Dawson | Visual Artist
Lauren Dawson graduated with a BA Hons in Fine and Applied Art from the University of Ulster Belfast in 2008, specialising in Printmaking and Photography.
Lauren also graduated with a Masters in Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies in 2010 also from UUB.
Lauren recently exhibited her new body of work entitled 'Permian' in her first solo exhibition in Haptik Gallery, Newtownards.
Lauren has exhibited in a number of group exhibitions including the Friends of the Earth ‘For Earth’s Sake’ exhibition in In-Spire Galerie Dublin, ForM Sculpture Exhibition in Bangor Castle Walled Garden in June 2019 and 2017, and the Christmas 200 Exhibition in association with the Mary Peters Trust in Black Canvas Gallery from Nov 2017 – Jan 2018.
Previously Lauren has exhibited at Belfast Print Workshop, Larne Museum and Arts Centre, and was an invited graduate artist at the Royal Ulster Academy Exhibition in the Titanic Drawing Offices in 2008.

Frequently asked questions
Do you take commissions or custom orders?
Unfortunately at the moment I do not have the time commitments to be able to take regular commissions or custom orders and I am only able to offer the original artworks listed on my shop.
However, if you would like to contact me about a commission I will see if I can help!
Do you sell reproductions or limited edition prints of your artworks?
No, at the moment I only sell originals of my artworks as listed. Each artwork is original and unique!
However if it proves popular, I may consider limited edition prints of particular artworks in the future.
Do you sell or can I request Digital Downloads of your artwork?
No. I do not offer or sell digital downloads of my work. Each artwork is sold as an original, physical, piece of art.
Do the artworks come framed or unframed?
To keep artwork and postage costs as affordable as possible, all artworks are sold unframed and unmounted.
Each artwork will be carefully packaged in a stiffened card envelope with 'please do not bend' clearly printed on the front.
Do you offer free shipping or can I request a lower postage cost?
Shipping to the UK is FREE!
All of my original artworks are shipped to the UK via Royal Mail Tracked 48 with Signature to ensure they arrive with you safely.
International orders will be shipped via Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed. This ensures extra security of the artwork and to be delivered to you as quickly and safely as possible.
All artworks will be sent Tracked so if the artworks were (in the unlikely event) to become lost or damaged, the situation can be quickly resolved.
For this reason I am unable to offer cheaper shipping alternatives for International orders.
Higher value art works will require additional insurance to cover loss or damage and may therefore be listed as shipping via courier.
I have noticed that I have provided the wrong shipping information. Can I change my delivery address?
Buyers are required to ensure that they have provided the correct delivery address.
If you have noticed that your delivery address/details are incorrect or out-of-date, please contact me ASAP before I have shipped your order.
If you contact me after I have already shipped the item I will be unable to stop the delivery to the wrong address. I can not refund items where the address provided is incorrect.
