Welcome

and thank you for your interest in my work.

I am an artist living in the Catskill region of New York.

My introduction to ceramics began with the study of artifacts as a student of Anthropology. I was immediately drawn to the physical evidence and tangibility of these ancient objects. I loved how they inhabited the physical world of our lives through utility, while also functioning as metaphors for shifting meaning, means of connection, and measurements of time.

After over a decade of working with clay I still feel challenged and inspired by its complexities and endless possibilities.

Here you will find mostly my functional pots that I make out of a love of the physicality of working with clay and a gratefulness to work with a material with such a history of accessibility.

Thank you
Lauren

Payment
I accept payment through pay pal. If you have any problems with your transaction send me an email.
Shipping
The items will ship within 1-5 days of order. I take special care in packing the work and insure it during delivery.

I generally use Fed ex or UPS.

If the shipping costs are less than what you have paid I will reimburse you the difference through pay pal.

Shipping internationally: I only have shipping costs listed for the US mostly because shipping ceramics internationally is expensive, but I would be happy to get a shipping quote to you if you are interested. Just email me your postal code and I will get back to you.
