Yes we do. In fact, Fine Custom Jewelry is our specialty. We create each of our pieces from scratch, beginning with gathering your ideas. We take your ideas, create a computer sketch and email it to you. You are involved every step of the way! You can request changes to the sketch until you are completely satisfied. We also send you videos of the gorgeous center gem you request for your approval. We then cast the piece, set the gems you have chosen, and then send you one more video for your final approval! Custom pieces are usually completed within 2-4 weeks. Need it rushed? Just ask. We retain the rights to use, copy, and market all custom designs.

Good question! We'd actually like to know the answer to that ourselves... Etsy was founded so that people who truly were handmade could compete against goods that are outsourced to other countries and produced by slave labor. However, we've been on Etsy for 8 years now, and sadly, we've seen Etsy lose more and more control over who is truly handmade, and who are clearly not. How can you as a consumer tell the difference? Absolutely. We can help point you in the right direction if you need financing. We send most clients through something like Paypal Credit. We, ourselves offer what is like a Layaway Plan - you make interest free payments on your piece as we make it, and then send it to you once it's paid in full. The most common plan our customers choose is to put a down payment, which we use to begin the computer sketches. Subsequent payments allow us to hand pick the center stone for your beautiful jewelry, and then subsequent payments allow us to cast, set and finish your piece. How many payments can you make? We're very easy to work with - you tell us what you can do, and we'll work with you!

FOR ORDERS OVER $250.00: All gemstones and jewelry over $250.00 are sent fully insured via UPS Next Day or 2nd Day Air (UPS Worldwide Expedited for orders outside the US) ) and will require a signature upon delivery.
Jewelry orders over $500 come in our designer storage box which includes a luxurious jewelry box, free jewelry cleaner, cleaning brush, and invoice.

FOR ORDERS UNDER $250.00: Jewelry and gemstones comes in a gift box or gem jar via whichever speed of USPS delivery you choose at checkout. Because the US Post Office does not insure jewelry, if your package is lost, it may not be able to be recovered. Contact us if you'd like to upgrade to insured shipping.

Since each piece is handcrafted to order, no two pieces are exactly alike and contain individual characteristics of a handmade work of art. We offer a 5 day money-back guarantee on all jewelry purchased as is. You will have 5 business days from the time you sign for your package to review your purchase and return it in its original condition with all its contents, or exchange it. This does not apply to jewelry that has been customized, or jewelry purchased using our Payment Plan. For these items, although they are not eligible for refund or exchange, if upon receipt you have any concerns, contact us. We'll do everything we can to make you happy! You MUST contact us for all items returned. We will provide you with a return shipping label that is fully insured. Items not returned with our label are NOT insured, and if lost, cannot be recovered.

Refunds will be given back through the payment method you used to originally purchase the item, provided you follow our return policies as outlined above. Refunds will be given less return shipping costs.

Any item returned without the original Laurie Sarah packaging, jewelry cleaner & brush, and all documentation included with the purchase will incur a $15 fee. A $10 fee will be incurred for items that need to be cleaned. If your ring was resized at any time, it will incur a $25 fee.

Any loose gemstones that are lost or damaged or that have been recut or set in jewelry will not be eligible for a refund.

Yes we do! Our Custom Design Center is located in the beautiful and historic Downtown Los Angeles. Come see how we make our jewelry! When you call to make your appointment, we will ask you what you want to design. Since we believe you should be involved in the creation of your jewelry, after we know what center stone you want, we will bring a small selection for you to choose from from our trusted dealers. If possible, we will also have on hand some settings for you to try on. Remember, custom jewelry is our specialty, so you won't see all our products in cases like in a retail store, but we'll have just what you need to envision your beautiful piece. All our pieces are sent with an emailed PDF file called "Certificate of Authenticity." This piece of paper is our guarantee to you, as jewelers who have been in business for over 40 years, of what you purchased. Pictures of your jewelry or loose stone, the value, and itemized details of what it is made of are clearly written. As far as appraisals go, you can have us purchase one for you from the Independent Appraiser we work with, or take your Certificate of Authenticity to a local Appraiser. Please be aware that we have had a few Appraisers undervalue our jewelry pieces because they forget to add value for your piece being a Custom Designer piece.
