Looks just like the picture and are adorable on my twin boys. Gerber onesies run very SMALL! Because I know this, I ordered 12 month size even though they are 6 months old - they JUST fit.
Lavender Paper Hearts
My shop developed out of crafting done for my wedding in June 2011 and also as a beautiful distraction from writing my dissertation. Procrasti-crafting was a great way to engage my brain in a different way at the end of a long day of teaching, researching, and writing. I ended up starting my own Etsy shop a month or so after our wedding and worked on pieces here and there as I had time.
Lavender Paper Hearts Handmade contains whimsical and fun hair pieces and fascinators for brides, bridesmaids, flower girls, or for anyone who just wants something fancy to wear for a night out on the town. I've had clients wear my pieces to prom or as a little something extra to wear to their baby shower! I also love working with clients to design custom pieces. Also, most of my designs are modifiable – so if you love a piece from my store but wish it had some tulle, or a rhinestone instead of a pearl, I can usually accommodate.
I've also started making custom made baby mobiles. I love creating soft and cuddling mobiles to help keep babies company in their cribs. I've also made quite a few custom mobiles which is a great way to make really personalized and customized gifts! Together we come up with unique and fun mobiles for their little ones!
Similarly, I've added fancy pet bow ties and bows to my shop after falling in love with my SIL's little pup. Seeing pups dressed up in fancy little bow ties always feels ridiculously fun and adds a touch of unexpected joy to anyone's day!! Bow ties are also super fun to help your pet dress up for a special occasion. I've had many dogs wear them in weddings and for engagement photo shoots.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: What if I want to combine some of the different aspects of your hair designs together? Can you make something special for me?
A: I love to make custom designs. If you like something from my shop, but wished it had another element you saw in one of my designs just let me know! More often than not I can accommodate custom orders and special requests. It never hurts to ask!
Q: The clip for the hair piece seems to be facing a different direction than I expected. What's up with that?
A: I actually spend a lot of time thinking about where to place the clips used to attach the piece to your hair. I usually try and angle the clip so that the actual clip is not visible when looking at you straight on. I want people to focus on you, and your overall look rather than focusing in on the shiny hair clip attaching the flower to your head. This might mean that you need to secure your hair first with bobby pins and then use the clip on the hairpiece to attach it to your hair.
PET BOW TIES:
Q: My bow tie has gotten a bit dirty, how should I clean it?
A: I recommend that you use warm water and mild soap and wash the bow tie by hand. If any wrinkles develop after washing you should most likely be able to iron them out.
***Choking Warning – I have done my best to ensure sure that all mobile parts are fastened securely. However, because this item contains small parts, please take the proper precautions when hanging up and be sure to place it out of the reach of small children. Mobiles SHOULD NOT be hung directly from the baby's crib. My mobiles are FOR DECORATION ONLY and MUST BE HUNG OUT OF BABY'S REACH. PLEASE REMEMBER, that as your baby grows you may need to adjust the height of the mobile to continue to keep it safely out of their reach.***
Q: What if I don't like the color combination featured in the baby mobile listing?
A: The best part about designing baby mobiles is that the colors are completely customizable. Do you have a specific color combo vision in mind? Just share it with me and I will do my very best to track down the colors you're looking for.
**Baby Mobile - How to Hang Your Mobile**
Q: Now that I've got this mobile, how do I hang it?
A: I recommend purchasing a plant bracket to hang your mobile. These can be easily purchased from your local Home Depot store for just a few dollars (prices vary depending on the level of fancy you want).
You can find quite a few plant brackets here: http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/catalog/servlet/Search?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&keyword=plant%20bracket&Ns=None&Ntpr=1&Ntpc=1&selectedCatgry=Search+All
Once you figure out how high you want to hang your plant bracket, you'll need to adjust the yarn on your mobile accordingly. I recommend that you then tie the yarn into a loop (keeping the yarn pieces even so the mobile will hang evenly) and then trim off the excess yarn pieces hanging below the loop.
Q: You included a cute little ball of yarn in my package, what is that for?
A: I generally make the mobile hanging yarn about 2-3 feet long so that you have some flexibility in hanging it where you want, and as high or low as you'd like (please take my choking hazard warning into consideration here), but I include the extra yarn just in case you need it to hang the mobile even higher.
Q: How do I clean my mobile?
A: In order to keep your mobile clean I recommend gently dusting or using canned computer air every few weeks to keep it dust free. Please make sure to do this when your baby is not in the same room as the mobile.
