Modern farmhouse table accents & rustic tier tray by LawseyDecor

For years I worked in New York City at places such as Martha Stewart Living, where I was design associate for over four years and Vogue, where I was senior designer for three years. While I loved the experience of living out my dream to work in publishing, I always longed for the heritage and natural beauty of the South, where I was born and raised.

Now that I’m happily relocated on the coast of South Carolina in the small city of Georgetown–which is the state’s third oldest town, situated on the Grand Strand midway between Charleston and Myrtle Beach—I draw on the local flora and fauna as well as the region’s history as inspiration, which I combine with my well-honed design skills to create my collection.

Outside of my studio, you can find me with my partner Mike working in our spare time to turn our small nearby farm into our future home. We use primarily reclaimed materials that seem to gravitate to us by word of mouth, which happens to be the same way our small brood of animals found their way to us, too.
