Welcome to Lea Joelle Handmade!

I'm super excited that you found my shop! If you have questions or would like to place a custom order, please reach out. I'd love to create something just for you!

My name is Jenni Lea Joelle and I live in New Jersey with my husband, beautiful twin boys, and two funny cats.

I love maintaining a variety of fun and unique hand painted items in my shop but you might notice my affinity for the Hamsa! I fell in love with the Hamsa hand on my first trip to Israel. I found wonder in its ability to unify cultures, a symbol of good luck in three major religions. Years later, I knew I wanted to give Hamsas out as favors at my wedding. When I couldn't find anyone who made customized Hamsas, I decided to make them myself. At my wedding, the amazing feedback I received made me realize I wanted to start my own shop.

Since 2011, I've been making hamsas and other customized artwork. In 2018, I started creating planters and faux succulents, coasters, other home decor and fun family portraits.

My goal is to create amazing pieces of art that thrill my customers. I would love your support and hope you will browse my shop, share it on social media, and favorite my store!

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns and cancellations
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
Request a cancellation within: 5 hours of purchase
I don't accept exchanges
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Digital downloads
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
I accept cancellations and returns. I do not offer product exchanges.
Items that are *not* personalized are eligible for returns. Just contact me within 14 days of receipt. You are responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value if your item is returned in damaged or worn condition. This deduction will be taken from the total cost of your refund.
A cancellation request must be made within 5 hours of placing your order. After this time, I've already begun the creative process and your order can not be canceled.
Custom orders and sale items are NOT eligible for returns or exchanges.
Payment is always due in full at the time of order. I accept all payment options accepted through Etsy's Direct Checkout. I do not accept private payments, nor do I offer layaway options.
The time it takes to ship your item(s) varies. Items that require more time to create will have a longer processing time. It is important for you to check the shipping time on each item.
All items are shipped via USPS. Larger orders are shipped via Priority Mail at my discretion. Shipping upgrades are available for an additional cost.
If you are placing a large order and need it shipped internationally, please contact me before making your purchase. It is very important to note that tracking information does NOT update once your order has left my country and I will not be able to provide shipping updates after this time.
You, as the buyer, are responsible for any customs and/or import taxes and additional shipping costs that your country may require. I am not responsible for delays due to customs.
Additional policies and FAQs
Your payment is processed through Etsy's Direct Checkout system. I never have access to your payment information. If you have a payment issue, you'll need to contact your card issuer, bank, or PayPal.

I *do* have access to your shipping address and contact information. This information will only be used to communicate with you about your order and fulfill your order. If necessary, this information may be used for legal reasons (like paying taxes).
Information I Collect

To fulfill your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorized Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom order or personal message, for example).

• As needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfill your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;

• Etsy. I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
