Wear your story.
I believe that jewelry tells a story. It can be a secret story, a reminder to yourself; it can be a story you tell to the world around you; it can be a costume or a talisman or a suit of armor. I love stories, and I love the challenge of translating an image or a narrative into a beautiful, wearable medium. I design and make jewelry using vintage and antique glass, hardware, metal and sterling silver.
Old things are endlessly appealing to me, and when I design jewelry it's especially satisfying to use old materials in a new way. When the delicate beauty of old glass comes together with the hardworking story of metal to make a piece that speaks to you, that is work I love.
I'd just started making jewelry in 2007 when I discovered vintage glass beads. They sparked my imagination in a whole new way; I fell in love, and have been obsessively hunting for unusual components ever since. I love using materials with provenance, and I put a lot of time and effort into finding unique vintage beads in excellent condition. I also think it's important to recycle materials when I can. All of my silver wire comes from a company that recycles sterling silver scrap, and my packaging contains post-consumer recycled material.
My jewelry is sold in a number of brick and mortar shops around the United States, but selling online is my favorite venue. I love the connections that can blossom between the maker and the user of handmade things. So many of my own treasured things were made by people I later came to know as friends, and I love the stories that live in these things I see and use every day.
I try to make my photographs and descriptions as thorough as possible, but sometimes I forget something. Please feel free to convo me with questions or if you'd like to see additional pictures of a particular piece of jewelry.

I believe in reusing and recycling resources wherever possible. When you buy Leaves of Glass, you're supporting eco-friendly small business and fair trade. In addition to using vintage materials in my designs, I do my best to use low-impact packaging. My mailers and jewelry boxes contain 100% recycled paper content, and my packaging cards are made using Spranq's eco font and 30% recycled kraftpaper.
Accepted payment methods
Returns and exchanges
The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to my shipping error or a defective product. For the most part, my experience with the US postal service has been extremely reliable, but for your protection and mine, returns must be sent back to me with delivery confirmation. I cannot be responsible for returns that are lost in transit back to me. Please package your return carefully. If you are returning an order, please let me know so that I can expect the package and process your refund or exchange in a timely fashion.
Please note that all wholesale purchases are final and not eligible for refund or exchange.

Shipping
I confirm and ship orders within 48 hours, unless I am away (if this is the case, it will be noted in my shop announcement). I ship within the United States by USPS first class with delivery confirmation, and outside the United States by USPS international first class (delivery confirmation is not available for international first class orders). If you would like to upgrade to priority or express shipping, please convo me to find out about times and additional charges.
Orders within the US usually take 3-5 business days to arrive, and international orders generally take 2-3 weeks (these times are not exact, and will depend on the mail service and customs practices of the specific country).
International Buyers: Please be aware that some countries may charge customs fees; buyers are responsible for paying their own customs fees. When shipping outside of the United States, I use US customs forms associated with my shipping software. These must be filled out accurately. I must comply with international shipping laws, and must declare all items as purchases; therefore, I cannot check the "gift" box on customs forms. Please bear any possible customs fees in mind when purchasing.

Wholesale inquiries are welcome. Please note that all wholesale purchases are final and not eligible for refund or exchange. At this time, I do not sell my work on a consignment basis.
I offer wholesale terms to buyers with a valid resale license. Please contact me for terms. I provide priority shipping at no charge to my wholesale accounts within the United States, and international first class shipping at no charge to accounts outside the US. Turnaround time depends on the size of your order, but will not take longer than three weeks. I'll be happy to work with you to ensure that any urgent deadlines are met. I don't accept returns or exchanges of items purchased at wholesale, except in the event that something arrives damaged (that's never happened, but I always feel I should say it just in case).
From time to time, I do carry one or two items that do not receive any discounts, because of their rarity or the complexity of the design. Those terms are indicated in my listings for those items, and I will sell them to wholesale accounts, but only at full retail prices.
