New directions...
When I was very young, I took my first jewelry course and fell in love! Though it got shelved for some time, I always dreamt of getting back to it. About 10 years ago, I made it happen and haven't looked back!
I started Le Chien Noir Jewelry in 2011 and moved to a pretty little farm in Quebec, near the U.S. border. My jewelry all happens in my farmhouse studio, where there's lots of daylight and plenty of room
On a constant quest to streamline and simplify life, my design aesthetic also tends towards the minimalist, which I feel best showcases the gorgeous gemstones I use. The days are never long enough and every project is an inspiring experience. Working with precious metals and gemstones is a tactile process like none other. And the abundance of wonderful stones out there is endlessly inspiring, as is the nature that surrounds me. One of the things I love most though is the possibility and pleasure of connecting with Etsians and customers from around the globe. All very exciting!
