Stories from my local environment

Creating handbags, backpacks, evening bags, shoulder bags, tote bags, pouches and clutches that are built to last but never boring!

I'm 30 years old, living and working in Jaffa, Israel. My designs are inspired by urban surroundings and dreamy landscapes. The collection features handmade screen printed fabrics and original prints from scenery captured on my camera that transformed into versatile essentials.

Materials & Ethics:
All of my bags are made locally and ethically from vegan materials. That means minimum waste, re purposing of remnants, working with water based textile inks and the use of PU as leather replacement, which is less harmful for the environment than PVC that is normally sourced for leather replacements. I believe that fashion should, and can be, cruelty free.

How are Lee Coren items made?

I believe that fashion can and should be cruelty free for both animals and humans. The Lee Coren brand is 100% vegan, ethically handmade from sustainable materials sourced from local independent vendors. All our items are sweatshop-free and animal friendly. We are proud to be a PETA Approved Vegan Brand.

Each Lee Coren bag is unique because it is made with heart and passion piece by piece. All of the screen printing process is done in-house as well as cutting, finishings and everything around it, while sewing is kept for the best hands in their field.

What materials do we use?

Lee Coren textiles and bags are 100% free of animal by-product. That means no silk, no fur, no wool, no down feathers, no leather! I use a variety of fabrics including raw cotton, eco-polyurethane, microfiber faux suede and up-cycled or overstocked polyester for the lining.

Various vegan leathers are used in production, most common is PVC, but we go the extra mile to source PU (polyurethane). PU is less harmful for the environment than PVC and I make it a point to use it whenever possible, while continuously trying to improve the standards for all our materials.
