About

Leethal Knits are innovative, modern, hand-knit accessory patterns designed by Lee Meredith.

I started knitting in college, in the early 2000's, then got really into improvising my own designs, and when I realized that other people might want to try knitting my ideas, I taught myself how to write knitting patterns. The first pattern I ever wrote was published in Knitty in 2007, and I've been self-publishing ever since.

I have a degree in visual arts and photography, and a bit of a background in graphic design and writing, so I'm happy to bring all this knowledge and experience into my design work. I also have a love of puzzles and games, and a nerdy math-loving brain, so I work often with innovative construction techniques, modular shapes, any-gauge pattern writing, and other unusual knitting methods.

My main concerns with my patterns are making the items fun to knit and wearable, so you may learn some new techniques in the process, but the important thing is that you'll have a great time making a cool accessory!
