When a passion becomes an obsession

My passion for miniatures came about thanks to my little girl Alexie for whom I built a fairy door & then a dollhouse. His eyes, when she discovers this whole universe, fascinate me, that's when "Le mini atelier" takes life.

At "Le mini atelier" we manufacture dollhouses & miniatures on a scale of 1:16 & 1:12 (ideal for Maïleg, Sylvanian, Calico Critters toys...). We like the idea of making modern and contemporary miniatures, mini representations of our interiors with cheerful & soft colours. Nothing is more satisfying to know that many children will imagine incredible stories about our universe & that homes can be passed on from generation to generation.

Everything is done with passion in Montreal. We use materials such as wood, balsa wood, fabric... The wallpaper are carefully selected & the paints used are either natural or non-toxic clay.

However, it is important to know that our toys are not suitable for children under 4 years of age. Some parts contain small objects that can be swallowed by younger children.

    Creative since my earliest childhood I already made my furniture for my Barbie dolls. I rediscovered the passion to make miniatures by restoring an old dollhouse for my 4-year-old daughter, since I never stopped!
