Understated and lovely. These are "hair-pulled up" earrings.
I like the "fun" aspect of these earrings. I consider this artist to be very talented. Each item I've received from her has been completely different from the others and she has a wonderful "colour sense"!
Yes, I received them quickly and the earrings are very pretty...they are a brilliant touch of light and I can imagine wearing them with a T-Shirt and jeans when summer comes.

Lapin du Printemps ~ a love of beads, rhinestones, paper, yarn, bunnies and all things French!
Lapin du Printemps was created in 2009 after a trip to Paris, France with my husband. It was a first honeymoon of sorts, but sparked my love of all things French. It was natural, therefore, that my shop would be a combo of the things I love: Paris in spring (le printemps), beads, rhinestones, paper, yarn and bunnies (lapin).
I started in 2008 making handmade paper goods: gift tags, scrapbook embellishments and cards, but soon starting posting jewelry to my shop. Always a hoarder of vintage buttons, I started buying beads and rhinestones and making my own jewelry. When my collection of beads and rhinestones started to out grow my workspace my husband "gave me that look." You know "the-you-better-start-getting-rid-of-some-of-this" look. That's when I began mixing jewelry in with my cards and tags and the shop you see today started taking shape.
Lapin du Printemps' items are a mix of vintage and new components. I'm constantly on the lookout for vintage beads and rhinestones and new and interesting pieces that fit the theme of the shop. Though the shop is now primarily jewelry-based from time to time you'll see new cards and tags listed in the mix along with a few knitted goods. I hope you love Etsy as much as I do and enjoy your stay in my shop.

Assistant, Gives Nose Butts
Oliver is a seven-year-old Holland lop bunny. He went blind when he was four years old, but makes out just fine and still works as Lapin du Printemps' favourite assistant.
As an Etsy customer myself, I know what a great privilege and treat it is to visit Etsy shops and find the perfect item or gift. It is even more exciting when the item arrives in the mail! To ensure this experience in my shop I have laid out the following shop policies. If you have any questions about anything outlined here, please feel free to convo me!
Customer Service and Feedback
♥ I will try my best to answer all convos within 24 hours – customer service and your business is important to me.
♥ If something is not right with your order, please let me know so we can find a mutually acceptable resolution. Your business and satisfaction are important to me.
♥ If you do not receive a shipping confirmation convo, please check the status of your purchase – I check items as shipped once they have been dropped off at the post office. You will find the receipt for your purchase in the top right-hand corner of the page under "You." Click on "Purchases and Reviews."
♥ If your item requires special care I will either send the information along with your shipment or convo you the care instructions.
♥ If there is a problem with your purchase (you feel the listing wasn’t accurate, the item arrives broken or damaged, or is the wrong size etc) please convo me before leaving feedback. This is my business and I will work with you to solve the problem.
♥ Is your purchase a gift? Please be sure to read our shipping policies! All items in the Lapin du Printemps shop ship from Canada via Canada Post. Please be aware of stated shipping times when making a gift purchase.
♥ I try to represent my listings as accurately as possible and give you multiple photos from different angles so that you know exactly what you're buying. I take all of my photos in natural light on my camera's macro setting. However, keep in mind that monitor settings are different from one computer to another, so colours may vary. Please also keep in mind that most vintage items are used and will have slight imperfections, wear, and surface scratches – any imperfections will be noted in the item’s description. All destash items are packaged as pictured.
♥ Vintage beads and rhinestones are purchased in bulk to secure "old stock" and "old new stock" when possible. This means multiples of an item are often available (please inquire if you need more), but more often than not, only one item is available. If an item is popular I do try my best to find additional bead lots or rhinestone lots. Please ask if you see something that has SOLD - I may be able to find another.
♥ All handmade items are made by me. If you see something you like, but don't like the colour or need more, please convo me and we can work together on the design. See something in the sold section? Convo me! I can probably recreate it.
♥ I try to list new items every week – so check back often for new designs and items.
Jewelry Material and Care
♥ With the exception of gold fill and sterling silver pieces all jewelry in the Lapin du Printemps shop is costume jewelry made with raw brass or surgical steel. The price reflects these materials.
♥ Care should be taken with costume pieces: avoid hair products, lotion/cream, perfume, and water. Remove your jewelry at bedtime and don't shower or swim with it on. Wipe pieces before storing. This should ensure the life of your costume jewelry.
♥ Raw brass will patina to a darker/antique brass over time. Wiping jewelry with a jewelry cloth or a wet cloth with some lemon juice will return the piece to its original state.
♥ Sterling silver (.925) jewelry does tarnish. You do not have to constantly polish your silver pieces, but running a silver safe jewelry cloth over pieces every now and again helps. Do not soak oxidized pieces in jewelry cleaner - this will ruin the finish. In fact, do not use liquid jewelry cleaner at all - it is toxic and can damage jewelry (especially silver) if left in the solution for too long. Silver paste (used with a soft cloth) or a silver polishing cloth are your best bet. Please feel free to convo me if you need help cleaning a piece of jewelry.
♥ With proper care gold fill and sterling silver pieces should last a lifetime.
♥ Pieces marked with "Made with CRYSTALLIZED™ Swarovski Elements" are genuine Swarovski crystal.
♥ Vintage jewelry has been previously owned and may have slight surface scratches that go along with the age of a piece. Vintage components e.g. rhinestones are either new old stock or up cycled from older vintage pieces.
Leather Care Instructions
♥ Care should be taken with leather tassel keychains. Please refrain from using the tassel as a key fob - it will not withstand the stress and wear. Normal wear is to be expected with an item that is used and abused everyday. Keys and other sharp objects can wear the leather tassel over time. Using a leather protectant (like those used on shoes or boots) can prolong the life of your leather tassel.

♥ Shortening the length of a chain, swapping the colour of a bead, or changing the metal on a pair of earrings is considered custom work and payment must be received before this work is started.
♥ Reserved listings will be held for 48 hours.
Shipping within Canada depends on how far the parcel has to travel – most parcels arrive in 3 to 7 business days. Items are shipped expedited parcel within Canada - this includes tracking and insurance. If you require faster delivery, please convo me and I can adjust the cost of shipping for you.
♥ United States:
Items under $50.00 are shipped by Canada Post small packet air. Small packet air to the United States takes roughly 7 to 14 days, but parcels can be delayed at Customs. All custom duties/import fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
Small packet air DOES NOT included tracking, but all parcels are insured. A claim of non-delivery will require your signature and USPS will investigate the non-delivery claim.
Items over $50.00 are shipped by Canada Post tracked packet. Tracked packet to the United States takes roughly 4 to 12 days, but parcels can be delayed at Customs. All custom duties/import fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
Shipping upgrades to the United States are available at checkout. Tracking is included with Tracked Packet, Expedited, and Xpresspost.
♥ International (Australia, United Kingdom and Europe):
Items shipped to Australia and Europe are shipped small packet international air. Shipping overseas takes roughly 14 to 21 days and parcels can be delayed (depending on your country) at Customs. All custom duties/import fees and VAT are the responsibility of the buyer.
Small packet international air DOES NOT included tracking, but all parcels are insured. A claim of non-delivery will require your signature and your national postal service may investigate the non-delivery claim.

♥ To ensure no hassle delivery, please make sure that your Etsy address and/or PayPal address are the same and up to date. I will not ship to another address after the item has been paid for - Paypal does not recommend this and seller/buyer protection may be void.
♥ INCORRECT SHIPPING INFORMATION - If a package is returned to due to an incorrect shipping address you provided, you may be responsible for any return shipping cost as well as the redelivery cost at our discretion. Please note: We cannot be responsible for items sent to an incorrect address provided by you that is not returned.
♥ All shipping quotes are estimates from Canada Post - your parcel may arrive sooner and it may also arrive later. In some instances (like holidays) shipping can take over a month to the U.S. and over 6 weeks to international destinations.

♥ Shipping labels and papers will reflect the actual cost of items purchased in CAD (Canadian Dollars) and a bill of sale will be included. It is illegal for the seller of goods to marks goods as "gifts," please do not ask us to do this. Your request will be denied.
♥ If your parcel hasn't been received by the estimated date of delivery - please wait a few days. Weather, holidays, postal workload etc can all delay delivery. Please also check with family members and neighbours to see if they collected the mail while you were out. USPS and most other delivery companies will leave a notice in your mailbox/on your door where your local Post Office is located and when your item can be picked up.
♥ Item lost in the mail? Your signature may be required by your local Post Office to recover lost merchandise.
Refunds and Exchanges
♥ Please check and read carefully a listing's description - I do my best to accurately describe all items and give detailed notes on colour, size and dimension. If you do not like your purchase (i.e. wrong colour, wrong size etc), I will refund the purchase cost ONLY if the item is returned unused and in new condition. Shipping is not refundable under these circumstances because shipping is a service and that service was fulfilled.
♥ If you are exchanging an item for another new shipping charges will not apply
♥ Return shipping charges will not be refunded unless the item arrives broken or damaged. Lapin du Printemps has the right to submit an insurance claim for broken, damaged or lost items.
♥ All items returned for refund must be returned within 14 days.
♥ Items must be returned in their original packaging (or similar) for full refund. Tracking must be provided upon return to ensure the item(s) are returned - this is required of purchases made through PayPal and Etsy Direct CheckOut.
♥ Damage must be reported within 14 days of the time of purchase.
♥ If the buyer opts to have a damaged piece replaced we will replace the item once.
♥ If you fail to pick up your parcel at the post office and the package is returned to Lapin du Printemps, you will be refunded the cost of the item minus the return shipping fee. The same policy applies to parcels refused at the post office and parcels marked 'return to sender.' A word of advice here - it costs more to refuse a parcel at the Post Office then it does to pay actual shipping to have it properly returned.
