A story of passion...
“Les Dessins de Lubin” offers you a range of original, ready to frame images to decorate the rooms of children of all ages.
The idea was born in Spring 2016 when I was looking for a present for the new baby of a close friend. It has to be a gift that didn’t make a noise, didn’t drag along the ground and which would last more than a few days.
I didn’t have any luck, so in the end I drew an illustration, had it printed and framed and handed it over.
I started getting orders from other friends, then friends of friends, and friends of friends of friends... And an idea was born.
After studying applied arts in Paris, followed by 15 years working as an art director in advertising agencies, I decided it was time to devote myself full-time to my passion for illustration.
I love beautiful things, and I love a job well done. I draw in the calm of my studio just outside Paris. I love the colour and vibrancy of Paris, I adore popular culture and the passions and excitement of the children around me. But I also find calm in open spaces.
With the help of my trusty cafetière and my favourite playlists, I illustrate the sparkly adventurousness of childhood using the eye of the child that lives within me still.
