Naturally dyed fabrics. Processed by hand.

Announcement    My fabrics are dyed exclusively with natural colors, I do not use any chemicals, not even in pre- or post-treatment. Some of the colors I use have proven themselves for centuries for dyeing. The fabrics are washable at 30 degrees. I use either certified organic fabrics or carefully selected 2nd hand fabrics, as I generally like to avoid further consumption and am a friend of using the things that are already in the world. Dyeing with natural colors is time-consuming, the plants do not always immediately give out their color :) I am happy to make pillows to order with lead time, just write me your (color/shape) wishes and we will certainly find a solution.

I am a freelance artist and through my art I ended up dyeing with natural materials.
I am happy that with L.E.S.S. I have the opportunity to apply this outside of my art.

Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

The fabrics can be washed normally at 30 degrees, but are of course happy if they are treated gently, i.e. no too high spin rate and no aggressive detergent.

Custom-made products and personalized orders

Dyeing with natural colours means being patient. I am very happy to produce special unique pieces for you, but please think of a certain lead time. Also, not all colors can be found in every season :)

Gift wrapping and packaging

I am also happy to pack your orders lovingly and sustainably for an extra charge of 4 €.

Are the colors bought or collected by yourself?

I collect all my colors, i.e. plants, leaves, bowls, etc. myself. If I need larger quantities, restaurants (or friends) collect for me, which have a correspondingly large throughput of avocado peels or pomegranate, for example. What I don't find in nature or accumulates as waste in my kitchen and my friends, I grow in my dyeing garden. There I have dyeing plants, such as calendula, girl's eye, student flower, mallow, goldenrod, safflower and dye chamomile. All these plants can be dried, so I can access this abundance of flowers even in winter.
