Announcement   Upcycled origami jewelry and fine jewelry. From candy wrappers to handmade washi chiyogami paper, from glass to gemstones - I make art out of whatever I can get my hands on.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: I am separating my lines. My upcycled jewelry is about to be moved to another shop. Over the course of the next little while, I will be transferring my items to a sister shop, called The Winged Lion (www.etsy.com/shop/thewingedlion) and deleting them from here. If you are looking for an upcycled piece please visit and order from there, as I would like to establish my 100% positive feedback rating there as well! Thank you so much!

I have a website! If you're interested in Letterbox Lion-related doings, please visit at www.letterboxlion.com. I am also on facebook, blogspot and twitter, so drop by!

CUSTOM ORDERS ARE WELCOME. If you want something I can make but haven't made yet, ask! Give me an excuse to make something I wouldn't have thought of before.

Here's celebrating being widely-known! Sales from coast to coast AND internationally - the internet is a wonderful thing.

Basically, I am here so that I can continue to make art, and share it with other people. I am an up-and-coming jewelry artist still learning the tricks of the trade. I'm developing my style and I expect it to keep evolving as I learn new techniques and become bolder with my experiments.

Returns and exchanges
Returns and repairs:
I will repair damaged pieces, and return them to their original state to the best of my ability, but I would ask that you pay the shipping costs to and from. If you wish to return a piece, you may do so for a refund of the cost of the item.

Please be advised that origami pieces cannot be repaired. If the origami is damaged, I would have to re-make the entire work to put new origami on it. For that reason all my origami is double- or triple- coated with two different kinds of sealant. It is impossible to make paper waterproof, and I have made it as durable and water-resistant as I can.
I am not responsible for packages lost in the mail if the buyer does not purchase insurance. Please contact me on Etsy with any concerns.
Payment
I accept personal check, money order or paypal. If you wish to cancel a purchase please let me know as soon as possible. Purchases not paid within 3 days with no communication will be canceled and re-listed, after two attempts at contacting the purchaser.
Shipping
Orders will ship via USPS, usually on the next (reasonable) Tuesday or Thursday, provided payment has been received. USPS Express or Priority mail are available at additional cost. Please contact me if you prefer one of the latter options. Custom orders will of necessity take longer to ship than others.

I wrap my pieces in fabric and/or place them in a handmade origami box, depending on their size and fragility. I use old newspaper as packing material. I will provide gift-wrapping or a handmade box at no additional cost upon request. Please notify me in the message to seller if the package is a gift and I should not include the invoice.
Additional policies and FAQs
Don't be shy if you want to ask me for a custom piece. I make art, but a piece is no less unique just because it is made in your favorite colors, is of a size you prefer or includes your birthstone. Please, give me an excuse to do something crazy for you and you won't be disappointed!
