About NourishingNotes
-
Ink! The lifeblood of our studio! We got a bunch of ink from a local shop that unfortunately had to close their doors.
-
At the Renegade Craft Fair! We LOVE meeting our customers in person!
-
Julie's kitchen journal, open to one of her favorites : rapini with polenta.
Let's celebrate food!
We like getting our hands dirty whether it be while printing on our press or while making biscuits. Through Nourishing Notes we want folks to get excited about food, to share it with others, and laugh along the way.
Just like a good pasta dough starts with a few basic ingredients, our creative process starts with paper, pencil and usually a strong cup of coffee. Our ideas, witty sayings, and illustrations are all dreamt up in our studio, supported by years of food research - eating everything in sight.
When we're not in our studio you can find us traveling in search of regional specialties : oysters right from Tomales Bay in California, REAL BBQ in Texas and even picking wild greens with our families in Michigan (Julie) and Greece (Andy).
We're excited to share our love of food with you!
