Announcement   ***HOILDAY ORDER DEADLINES***
For stamp & notecard orders, I will do my best to be sure your order reaches you by Christmas if you order by:
December 12th for orders within the US
November 28th for international orders

For other items (such as calendars or Quote Club), please order by December 16th. Thank you!

***This year my shop will be closed Dec. 21st-31st so I can celebrate the holidays with my family!***

Welcome to lettergirl! I handwrite all my work in my light-filled little studio in St. Paul, Minnesota. I have been writing & designing for over 24 years. I am inspired by long walks, good books, and early mornings. I hope my simple products will give your ordinary tasks a touch of the extraordinary.

Stamp production is typically 8-10 business days PLUS shipping. Allow 2-5 days for shipping within the US and 2-4 weeks for international shipping. (Canada seems to take the longest!) Please contact me before purchasing if you are in a hurry and I'll let you know if rush service is available. It all depends on my schedule at the time!

And I'm sorry, but I don't provide any proofs without purchase. All of my work is written by hand, and I earn my living from the time it takes me to write out and prepare the lettering. Advice is free! Please convo me if you're not sure which stamp is best for your address. Or, if you're concerned about the quality of my stamps, I hope you'll check out my feedback:

For more information about the difference between self-inking and red rubber stamps, please read my Shop Policies:

I also welcome custom orders -- for stamps or other handwritten projects. Please convo me with your ideas. And for handwriting tips, stitching projects, recipes, and other creative endeavors, visit my blog: www.ginasekelsky.com/blog. Thank you!

Amazing...makes a perfect impression every time and doesn't at all look like a stamp. Great and responsive, quick turnaround.

Trying out my new bitty sized planner today and it's got me thinking a little on the wild side for a Monday!
All the ways you can use my new downloadable planner! My favorite part is the colored boxes provided for each day--record your focus at the beginning of the day, appointments you don't want to forget, or a gratitude at the end of the day.
Here's what one of my handwritten quotes looks like before I scan it, clean it up, and add color. (I liked the second "Y" better!)

About

the ART of handwriting

I've been making pretty handwritten stationery for weddings, babies, holidays, and everyday since 1992.

I handwrite each stamp in my little, light-filled studio in St. Paul, Minnesota. I am inspired by long walks, good books, and early mornings. See more of my creative lettering on my blog, ginasekelsky.com/blog.

In addition to my handwritten items here on etsy, I love collaborating on custom projects. A gift for your mom's 70th birthday? An artistic way to commemorate a special journey? T-shirts for your family reunion? Tell me your ideas and let's see what we can create together.

I've been making pretty handwritten stationery for weddings, babies, holidays, and everyday since 1992. In my etsy shop you'll find over 25 original stamp designs that you can personalize with your own name & address. You can also create your own stamp design with my Custom Address Stamp listing or get a stamp in your own handwriting.

Please note that I am not able to provide any proofs without purchase. All of my stamps are written by hand, and I earn my living from the time it takes me to write out and prepare the lettering. Advice is free! Please convo me if you're not sure which design is best for your address. Or, if you're concerned about the quality of my stamps, I hope you'll check out my feedback:

If you need to make a change to your order, please contact me within 48 hours of purchase.

Lettergirl items are all handwritten, custom made just for you. With that in mind, please note that there will always be some variation with each order.

I love collaborating; I hope you'll keep me in mind for your custom birth announcements, wedding stationery, holiday cards, and gifts.

Payment
I am currently accepting payment by PayPal -- you can use a PayPal account or a credit card. For orders within the US, I also accept payment by check. Please note production does not begin until receipt of payment.

Minnesota residents will have sales tax added to their order.

If you change your mind about an order you've placed, cancellations are accepted within 48 hours. Returns are not accepted/no refunds for all digital purchases including printables and workshops.
Shipping
Most stamp orders are shipped within 8-10 business days after receipt of payment. Stationery items such as cards and stickers are shipped within 3-5 days of purchase.

In a hurry? I offer Rush Service for an additional $10. With Rush Service, production is decreased to 4-5 business days. If you'd like to add Rush Service to your order, please choose Priority Mail shipping at checkout AND leave a note with your order to process via Rush Service. I'll invoice you on PayPal for the additional $10 fee. Please note that Rush Service is generally not available after the first week in December (because we're all in a hurry then!).

Rush service is also available for international orders; please contact me for specific details.

Please verify that your ETSY shipping address is accurate. I use the address on the etsy receipt for shipping. If your package does not arrive within two weeks (or four, internationally), please confirm that your shipping address on etsy is accurate, then contact me & I will do my best to help you quickly.

I appreciate when you let me know that your stamp has arrived safely by leaving a product review. Thank you!
Refunds and Exchanges
Mistakes happen & if I've made one, I want to fix it! If your stamp is defective, damaged in transit, or if I've made an error with the address, please let me know so I can replace it.

Your custom order is prepared based on the information you provide in the Message/Notes area at checkout. If you do not include any specific information on the etsy invoice, I will assume you'd like the stamp made identical to your shipping address. Please double check what you've entered so we're both happy with the results!

All items are made to order; I cannot accept any returns. If you want to verify how your stamp will look before you receive it, please purchase a proof (a variation offered within each listing). If you forgot to purchase a proof, please reach out & I can provide one for an additional $5 if you let me know within 48 hours of purchase.

If you've made a mistake on the address for a self-inking stamp, you don't need to reorder a whole new stamp. You may purchase a replacement die (rubbery bit with your address) in the Supplies section of my shop.

If you change your mind about a stamp order you've placed, cancellations are accepted within 48 hours.

No returns are accepted/no refunds on all digital purchases, including printables and workshops. If I have made an error on a digital item, please let me know as soon as possible and I will replace the PDF as quickly as I can. Please review any printable items before printing as I cannot be responsible for expenses incurred after the download.
Additional policies and FAQs
Here's a little more info about the stamps available from lettergirl. If the design you like says "sold," just convo me & I can relist it for you.

SELF-INKING
Just press down on the stamp case and your address appears (like magic!). Self-inkers are convenient for everyday use. All stamps are black ink, but additional colors (red, blue, brown, etc.) are available for an extra charge if desired. Depending on use, the self-inker will give you hundreds of impressions. You can then reink the ink pad to continue using the stamp. (Replacement ink is available in the Proofs & Supplies section of my shop.)

Please note, self-inkers are not recommended for use on shiny/metallic envelopes. They can be used -- but it can take up to one full day for the ink to dry on these non-porous surfaces.

Although the ink in the stamp will last for hundreds of impressions, I recommend ordering extra ink if you'll be stamping more than 150-200 times in one sitting. One bottle of replacement ink will last for years.

RED RUBBER
For extra fine detail, I recommend traditional red rubber stamps. They make beautiful gifts too. Red rubber lasts a long time and can be used with a variety of inks, including permanent alcohol-based ink (such as StazOn, which is best for shiny/glossy/metallic envelopes or StazOn Opaque, which is best for dark envelopes). These stamps are mounted on a wood block with a handle and engraved with your stamp image for easy reference. Please note, a handle is included in your order, but you can request an art mount (wood block only/no handle) by leaving a note with your order.

My red rubber stamps are cut a little more shallow than traditional rubber stamps, so I recommend using a firm ink pad (rather than a spongy one). My favorite ink for red rubber stamps is VersaFine. Ink pads are not included with your purchase.

I offer the following by custom request only:

POLYMER with WOOD HANDLE
A polymer stamp gives a nice everyday impression. It is sturdy and somewhat economical looking. Since you use your own ink pads, you can change the color as often as you like. The stamp image is made from a translucent polymer, mounted on a wood block with handle. If you want to use your own ink pad, but feel the red rubber style is too fussy (since it is so fine), polymer may be the best choice for you. Just leave me a note at checkout if you'd rather have polymer (same price as red rubber).

UNMOUNTED
I can also make unmounted stamps in your choice of translucent polymer or red rubber. Adhere the flexible die to your own wood or acrylic block when you want to get the placement just right. Available by custom request.
