I am an artist, quilter, designer, teacher and poet. For me, art and creating are a way of life - helping us make sense of the world - it's beauty and pain - and enabling us to take part in the act of creation. I graduated from Pepperdine University with a major in Fine Art, spent years as a textile designer in the Interiors industry and continued my art education over the years at The Art Institute of Chicago and Art Center.

After learning all of the knowledge, I found the heart aspect when I needed some healing after trauma and found that art was a key element in processing pain. I teach workshops and lessons in mixed media, meditation and healing through art, sewing and quilting.
I am a native Los Angelino living in the heart of the city in an old home surrounded by my husband, kids, pets and beloved neighbors.
