Sustainable practices are embedded in all facets of Lichen Studio's daily operations. Providing a quality, handmade product, at a fair price, and with as little environmental impact as possible, is our primary goal. I source recycled metals, utilize re-used/recycled materials when possible, and do likewise with packaging. We are dedicated to the conservation of our environment. Some examples of sustainable practices within the studio include: solar hot water heating, solar film on all windows, hybrid transportation, and recycling.

Additional policies and FAQs
Most Lichen Studio pieces will be oxidized. A process in which liver of sulphur solution is used to patinate, accentuates the wire wrapping, and creates subtle contrast, which I feel is very beautiful. This process can create a myriad of color possibilities, turning silver wire to a light golden color, oranges, blues, greens, and black. I continue to experiment with oxidation to find pleasing combinations. However, if you see a piece which you would prefer un-oxidized, please convo me. I am happy to re-create a similar style for you without patination.
